The next morning, Lindsay and Daisy see us off at the entrance of the palace.
Before leaving, I looked back at the palace behind me reluctantly. I knew that leaving here was a sign of a fight.
Finally I followed the master and jumped on Cross and flew to the city of Kroni.
The master still wore a dark red knee-length skirt today, intricate patterns coiled around her skirt, girdle outlineed her slender waist, snow-white arms in the sunlight with a soft white light, and her long hair floating out was still that familiar strong fragrance.
On the way I did not dare to hold the master again like the day before. I just silently sat on Cross until noon, before reaching the city of Kroni.
Cross landed in a square in front of a small palace which was not as prosperous as the palace in the castle in the Imperial Capital.
When the soldiers saw us, they knelt down and bowed to us. To be precise, they knelt down and bowed to the master.
After the master told them to stand up, they remained.
"Take me to Solz."
"Yes."
The soldiers stood back to their posts quickly, and only one soldier stayed behind to lead the way for the master.
The soldier led us to the corridor next to the square, and then passed many houses along the corridor. But comapred with magnificent and gorgeous buildings in the castle, the houses here were very ordinary and simple, monotonously constructed and low.
Finally we arrived at an ordinary house, the door of it was open. There was a long brown table in the middle of the house, a map on top of it, a few people sitting next to the table .
And I simply recognized Solz. There were five other people, men and women.
When they saw the master who appeared in the doorway, they got up hastily and bent down to salute.
One of them, Solz, who wore a white military robe, lowed his head, and his face was full of apologies.
"It is my rudeness for failing to receive Lord Demon King's arrival properly."
The master nodded towards them, "No matter, I didn't inform you guys either."
"A surprise visit from the Lord Demon King. What is the urgency ?"
The master walked in, and the soldier who led the way for us left.
"Nothing. I just want to see how you guys are getting ready."
Standing next to the master, I was ignored once again. Probably in their view I was just a mediocre follower.
"Determine the tactics, wait for the reinforcements to arrive, and then you can attack."
The master approached and stood at the table, looking down at the black-and-white map.
I looked at it, too. There were all kinds of lines and some symbols on the map, but I couldn’t read them at all.
"Well, how much longer do we need to discuss it?"
"About a week before we can march on the city of Lahs." Soltz replied in a defiant tone.
"Good, report back to me when you have discussed the result."
The master lifted his head and stood up straight. Although the high-heeled master was shorted than Solze, her aura was overwhelming that of Solz.
"Order the underlings to prepare a room for us. I will take Ilotia to see the surrounding situation."
"Yes, Lord Demon King."
After they answered the master in unison, everyone except Solz looked at me incredulously.
"Is this the legendary figure, Ilotia?"
A brown-haired man in a brown robe sized me up.
My master and I nodded at the same time.
"Because I locked her abilities away, it's normal for you guys to detect that she has low magic power."
"So that's how it is."
The crowd spoke in unison and bent down and bowed, except for the smiling Solz.
"Lord Ilotia, we were rude just now."
I was surprised and uneasy by the sudden apology but felt a little happy . So I'm a little suprior?!?
The master turned her head to look at me. I immediately understood and waved my hand at them.
"It's okay. It's okay."
"You guys continue your discussion. We're leaving."
"Goodbye, Lord Demon King, Lord Ilotia."
With their bending down and saluting again the master and I walked out of the small room, so we just dropped by and simply talked?!? I thought the master would stay and discuss with them as well.
" Just dropping by and simply talking?"
The master suddenly turned around and looked at me in confusion.
The first time I saw my master's puzzled expression made me feel new. It turned out that my master had other expressions besides laughing, angry, and serious. I smiled and shook my head.
"It's nothing."
