Deep in the memory, under the clear sky vault, in the bright daylight, the colorful flowers in the garden were blooming.

The green birds vibrated their wings and stirred up the breeze from the low air, blowing the flowers in the garden. And the butterflies were dancing on top of the petals which it seemed that they were waiting for the wind to stop picking nectar.

All of the scene was reflected in the depths of the red eyes of the little girl who was sitting on the garden swing. The girl's white princess dress was also embroidered with many transparent lace flowers in full bloom. The pattern from the wonderful handwork has brightened the girl's childish innocence.

Behind the girl there was a woman wearing a luxurious red dress whose slender body was as beautiful as possible. Her face was similar to the little girl, tiny cherry lips in the sunlight emitting a watery luster. Her white and delicate skin was like the porcelain. Her two earlobes were decorated with white jewels earrings, long dark red hair like a ruby waterfall, golden hair band circling her red hair. The middle of her hair band was a pair of brown horns which symbolized she was from the Demon Race.

"Furtoril."

"Em?"

"Got it?"

"Got it, Dear Mother."

The girl crossed her legs while the swing swayed.

"All things should be harmonious. The prosperity of the Kingdom cannot be driven by war. The people are the foundation of a Kingdom, so treating them well will make the Kingdom rich and strong. We should solve conflicts in a peaceful way, and should not impose on others through violence."

The girl had learned these things by heart long ago because her matriarch basically gave her a daily lecture on politics every day.

Although what her matriarch did was similar to what humans did, the girl didn’t hate it. On the contrast, she really enjoyed listening to her Dear Mother to talk with her about these things.

"Humans are the same. Something like the swing was invented by humans, very interesting. Do you think so?"

The girl nodded. This girl also knew that now many things in the Demon Kingdom are imitated and borrowed from human culture. In fact, humans can really invent these interesting little things, so the girl didn’t hate humans. She also liked humans even after understanding the human culture.

"That's why we shouldn't fight against humans with swords, because starting a war not only makes humans hate us more, but also causes countless demons and humans to lose their lives on the battlefield. Let's not talk about humans for now, and Furtoril doesn't want the people of our Kingdom to die either. Do you think so?"

"YES."

"Your father and I want to create a peaceful country where there is no war. Even if there are conflicts, they are only simple strife. We want to create a world where we can understand each other."

The girl listened intently to her matriarch's speech.

"We are working hard to have a happy life for all the people of our Demon Kingdom. We hope that no more families will be separated by wives and torn apart."

The girl's mind flashed through a scene of the city sight she had traveled.

The sound of shouting in the streets and alleys came around. A thousand strange houses stood in the city where merchants were selling, travelers were in a hurry, and farmers worked hard. In summer cicadas were singing happily. All of them smiled happily at that time, and everything was thriving.

”Those are the prosperity that our Demon Kingdom blooms after learning human culture.”

"Yes."

The girl nodded her head heavily.

"Your father is trying to deal with the human race. I believe that there will be a day when our Demon Race and the Human Race can dissolve all the conflicts so that our two races will definitely live in peace in the future."

The girl thought of her father who was often busy with affairs, was often no time for her, but she never complained, because she admired her father, the monarch who could make the Demon Kingdom so prosperous. She also wished to become a Demon King like her father.

"When that day comes, we can travel to the cities of the human kingdom as much as we want. And we can feel free to interact with humans, no longer with hatred, no longer with discrimination."

"Well, Dear Mother, it’s great."

The girl began to have the same expectations as her mother in her heart.

"From now on, I will follow you to deal with the affairs. Is it okay?"

Her mother showed a kind smile and gently touched the girl's head. The horns on the girl's head were still very short, and only a small part of the horns showed on her red hair.

"Furtoril is still young."

"I can do it. I can help the Father and Mother share the task. And then we can create a peaceful world where our demon people and humans live in peace."

The girl clutched the iron rope of the swing on the side, a blazing fire of hope ignited in her heart.

------

However, more than seventy years later, the Demon King who held the most ardent hope that the demons and humans will live in peace in the past played a concerto of war with humans. The Kingdom that should be prosperous was overdrawn so that the demons lived miserable lives.
