I lowered my head in digesting Heath Relia's words.

"I just tell you so much mainly to let you understand the whole story. Since you came to this world, you are the member of this world. If you do not obey the rules of this world properly, you will be doomed to die. The rules are made by the strongest one, our Demon King, stronger than you. The weak should obey the orders of the strong."

"Are you kidding me..."

I spoke out the words feebly. My voice was so low that I could barely hear it.

"Ilotia, I'm saying all this for your own good. I hope you think about it carefully. When the Demon King comes, you should put aside your so-called dignity, give up your naive illusions of freedom, and do her bidding properly."

When Heath Relia said, her tone of voice became helpless.

I could hear the sincere persuasion in her words. But I also felt a great insult, as if I was told that you should wear a collar and be a docile dog working for others in order to live well.

How can I become so inferior? How could I give up my dignity as a human being?

"Heath Relia."

Suddenly the door of the prison came the voice of the master. The master’s tone of voice was so cold.

"I hope you can hold out."

Heath Relia whispered to me, then showed a regretful expression. Heath Relia turned her head and walked towards the master.

To my surprise, this time Heath Relia did not greet the master, but walked past directly from the master's side out of the door of the prison.

Then the master walked in. When the master looked at me with indifference as if she was looking at a stranger, my body shuddered.

The master walked up to me, and leaned down. Then she reached out and gently touched my face, I felt the faint warmth blankly.

She slowly touched my forehead and lifted my bangs with her hands.

Then she carefully touched my eyebrows. The master has never done to me with such gentle actions.

Suddenly my right eye fell into darkness.

"Ah!!!"

The next instant I screamed out miserably.

It felt like my eyes were empty, my right eye was... The stinging sensation, like a wave of the ocean, came to my brain but did not stop. Then the left eye flowed with tears of pain, hot streams of hot water flowing across my cheeks. The right face was full of blood, while the left face was full of tears.

The master stretched her fist in front of my eyes and unfolded it. Then a scarlet sphere was displayed in front of me. With my left eye full of tears, I could vaguely see the blue pupil of that sphere .

"Fourth level."

My body gushed with heat. The master turned her hand to press the eyeballs back into my eyes.

The warmth continued to wrap around my head slowly and the pain subsided gradually. The eyeballs returned to their place and were healed quickly. Then the vision in my right eye was full of blood after I regained my sight.

The master dropped her palm in front of me, the residual blood slowly dripping down, so I could not help but shiver.

"Are you scared?"

I nodde quickly.

So that's what Heath Relia meant when she said she hoped I could hold on. There would be more torture than I could bear. Thinking here, I felt so scared.

The master's red pupils stared at me coldly, as if I could see the endless abyss in the depths of her eyes.

Should I beg for mercy?

Should I condescend myself to the master?

Should I abandon my dignity?

"It won't be so easy to beg for mercy now."

The master wiped the blood on her hands with the blue dress on my body. All of a sudden a purple magic blade came. The master wore the same evil and dark smile on her face as she first met me.

"Oh no!!!"

The sharp pain penetrated deep into the marrow and then into my brain nerves, which caused me to wail out in pain.

I don't know how long I experienced this chronic torture. I just know that suffering this torture is like falling into hell. I was constantly emitting miserable screams, and my throat was very dry and hoarse.

The master withdrew her hand and the magic blade dissipated into purple light.

"It hurts, doesn't it?"

I nodded my head with a tear-stained face.

The master shook her head, looking dissatisfied with my performance.

"What do you think you're living for?"

The master asked the question that Heath Relia had asked.

But the master did not wait for me to answer, but spoke to herself. No, to be exact, the master didn’t speak to herself, after all, she was able to read my inner thoughts.

"You don't know anything. In the original world, you have lived a muddled life. I want to ask you a question: have you lived a day for yourself in your original world? Have you ever simply set a goal for yourself?"

The master asked a question I had never thought of before. As the wound healed and the pain slowly disappeared, I could focus on my thoughts.

What was I living for on Earth?

It seemed that everything was arranged by others, and the trajectory of life was exactly along the lines arranged by my parents.

"I've read everything in your past as long as you remember."

Not only was my mind read by my master but also my brain was read by her.

"In fact, you came to this world and you felt a little bit happy in it, right? For the first time you have a small goal, and you want equality and freedom. Have you noticed the joy in your own heart?"

After hearing the master's words, I suddenly realized that I had adapted to this world too quickly. It took me only a month or so to adapt to this world.

Did I really enjoy myself in this world? It's just that I didn't admit this fact.
