Chapter 10: Take the Blame for People
Clad in a gray mage's cloak, someone was carrying a ragged broom.
This image was a real "Strange and exotic animal" at the Imperial College of Magic. With this kind of special image, Rollin walked around the college, which made him so conspicuous so that the rate of second glance reached 200%.
Although Rollin's reputation has been very "hot" lately, many people haven't seen him in person. After all, he always does research at home and never comes to class, which will satisfy the curiosity of the crowds.
"Is that Rollin?"
"He's really talented. "
Many cadets looked at Rollin from afar and sneered contemptuously. The most inferior cadets (junior magicians) with green cloaks in the academy are also straightening up at the moment and pointing at Rollin.
"I heard that Felina once pursued Rollin?"
Nobody knew who threw out such a bomb about this anecdote, but all the The students exploded for this hot news.
"Bah! How can a loser like that deserve it? I think he is the one who pestered Sister Felina. He is exactly a lunatic. How dare he go after Felina? Doesn’t he know that he is a loser?”.
Many of the cadets said disdainfully.
Felina is the idol of many cadets of the Imperial Academy of Magic. Not only is she extremely talented, but she is also beautiful. At the academy, even the female cadets are so enamoured by Felina. It’s even more exaggerated that there are countless people who desire to pursue Felina in the whole Lane Empire.
"This kind of person is not even qualified to take a look at Sister Felina!"
Some cadets were even more indignant, and even wanted to go up and spit in Rollin's face.
Munster, the guide, was even more embarrassed. Although he had a tough time on a regular basis, he was going crazy with all the sharp eyes staring at him at this moment.
“Shit! Why would I mess with someone like that? “Munster cursed in his heart.
Munster's face flushed and his pace was getting faster, as if to tell people that he had nothing to do with Rollin.
"Hey! You walk slower."
Rollin pulled on the back of Munster's collar nonchalantly, then looked around calmly and said, "I haven't been to the academy for a long time, and I want to see more."
“Fuck! You can look after you finish the test if you want to! “ Munster swore in his heart heavily.
Munster wanted to cry, he wanted to take off his green cloak and stop being a wizard. He wouldn't have accomplished anything anyway.
Rollin saw what Munster was thinking, and he had read everyone’s mind at a glance. After all. he had undergone a lot.
Although Munster despised Rollin as much as anyone else, his contempt was less obvious and not direct on his face. Therefore, Rollin was not particularly repulsed by him.
"Speaking of which, I feel like the college has changed quite a bit."
Rollin said as he looked around, ignoring the disdainful glances from those around him.
Munster sighed helplessly, "Yes, the academy has been renovated this year and many new facilities have been built. This time, the final test will be held in the new battling arena."
"So ......"
Rollin's eyes twitched slightly as if to have sensed something but did not say so explicitly.
The reason why the Imperial Academy of Magic is so famous is that its hardware facilities and education system are perfect, and even many long-established magic academies are inferior in terms of basic magic education. It is definitely very strong that it has taken three years to create a large number of intermediate and even advanced magicians..
Because of the high quality of the cadets cultivated by the Imperial College of Magic, those elite magic colleges are competing for them. After all, who wouldn't want such talented people with a solid foundation in magic? So many colleges are happy to cooperate with the Imperial College of Magic, which makes the reputation of the Imperial College of Magic very influential.
Rollin took a look around and saw that many of the buildings’ interiors engraved into the magical arrays, which only the Imperial College of Magic could achieve such grandiose.
Rollin and Munster arrived at the academy's new battling arena unknowingly, a place where everyone from the Imperial Academy of Magic can come. When they first stepped into the battling arena, they felt small immediately!
The arena is so large that a person standing in the vast arena feels unprecedentedly empty and tiny, as if he were an ant standing on a vast expanse of land.
The entire arena is suffused with a huge amount of magic, as the foundation of the arena is carved with an oversized magic array. When activated by the injection of magic power this magic array can absorb the magic around the empire so that cadets could use the magic.
Not only that, but the arena is wrapped in a semi-transparent semicircular magic shield that is strong enough to withstand a bombardment of eighth-level magic!
Eighth-level magic ah ...... even the president of the Magic Guild or the dean of the Imperial Academy of Magic may not be able to carry it off, which shows how much effort the empire has put into creating this battling arena.
"Amazing."
Rollin nodded in admiration. Although he had read some records of battling arenas in ancient books, it was not easy to build a battling arena of this size in this era.
"It's a pity that I can't absorb the thick magic power here."
After all, it is unrefined natural magic, which can be highly toxic to Rollin, but Rollin is not capable of absorbing natural magic either.
"Hm, Rollin, you're really here?"
As Rollin watched the battling arena, Karl appeared from somewhere, perhaps following Rollin from the beginning.
Rollin simply ignored Karl as he watched and saw a stone statue in the middle of the arena.
"Is this the stone statue of ...... the Goddess of Light?"
Rollin walked straight toward the stone statue, leaving Karl behind, which made Karl feel tremendously humiliated.
"Damn Rollin, it looks like I have to punish you and teach you a lesson this time!"
Karl clenched his fists in anger as he greeted the man next to him - the friend of Munster's - and whispered a few words in his ear.
"That's ...... not very nice."
"Do what I have told you. You mustn’t talk so much nonsense!"
"Yes yes ......"
The other party nodded in agreement obediently and retreated hastily.
Rollin, on the other hand, had walked up to the stone statue. Then he stroked to the stone statue with equal size as the body gently.
The stone statue of the Goddess of Light is so vividly carved that even the eyes have different charm. Just standing next to it Rollin feels like the Goddess of Light is descending before it.
Rollin circled around the stone statue, then tapped it a few times, and even climbed on it.
"Hey, hey! What are you doing?!"
Seeing Rollin's actions, Munster was about to go crazy.
This was the stone statue of the Goddess of Light, and Rollin was climbing on it. What Rollin did was the blasphemy against the Goddess of Light!
Although Munster just stood by Rollin, he felt ashamed.
Not just Munster, but many of the cadets in the arena saw Rollin's behavior and spat, "What kind of person would be so rude to the Goddess of Light! What a vulgar hillbilly!"
"Bah! I don’t think he knows the enormous seriousness of this matter at all., If the academy president finds his bad behavior, he is doomed to be dead! Ignorant people!"
Rollin heard these words, then he turned back to those people and said, "Ignorant? I think it is you who are ignorant."
"What did you say!"
When the provocative cadets saw that Rollin contradict what they said before, they all rolled up their sleeves and tried to teach him a lesson, but Munster stepped forward to discourage them hurriedly, "This is a battling arena, so there is no private fights without permission.."
