The night is dark and windy, and the bleak wind blows through the forest like the wail of a grieving woman.
The orphanage on the outskirts of Flan City is hidden in a black tide, and the shadows of the willow trees are reflected on the wooden walls by moonlight, like magical creatures with teeth and claws.
All was quiet, as several figures dropped on the roof.
"The boy's room is down there, don't alert anyone, just do it quick and quite." The head assassin waved his hand tohis subordinates and swung down the rope.
This crude orphanage didn't even have a lock on the window, it opened with a gentle push, it was too easy-peasy.
With a few long jumps, the assassins got into the second-floor window, they arrived silently at the bed with the bulging bedding, daggers popping out of their sleeves.
The mission was accomplished the moment they stab the dagger into him, easier than the head assassin could have imagined.
Humph, as an assassin, he didn’t even have a little vigilance, this kid died with reasons.
However, when the dagger stabbed in, he instantly realized that something was wrong.
It felt like it was not flesh and blood, but a pile of straw that had been tied up ........ Yes, it was straw!
"Damn it!" Lifting the linen quilt, the head assassin looked with a grimace at the scarecrow lying flat in the middle.
"Shit, he ran away!" The head assassin said fiercely.
"Who ran away?" At this moment, a little tender voice floated from the window.
At that moment, the assassins turned around. At this moment, someone screamed, which means one of them has been taken down,
"You son of a bitch, sneak attack on us!?" Seeing Mo Li on his back, the head assassin was furious.
He had actually been fooled by this kid who hadn't been an assassin for years! This is a great shame for an old assassin.
"If assassins don't sneak up on people, do they just kill people face to face?" Mo Li, who was sitting against the window, playing with his dagger, said amusedly. "What, you're only allowed to assassinate me, but I'm not allowed to sneak up on you?"
"By the way, you guys are so slow. I've had three cups of tea and I haven't seen your shadows, I’m tired of waiting." Mo Li scratched his ears in a careless manner. "The assassination of the nobleman failed and still came slowly to kill me, you guys should be lucky to meet me, if I were others I could runaway a long time ago, waiting for you guys to kill me? No way."
"You little brat, when I cut off your arms and legs you'll regret that you didn't run away!"
"Is that so?" Mo Li put away his dagger. "There are a lot of people here, and you don't want to alert the others, right?"
"Follow me if you're brave enough." Mo Li said, he flipped over and leaped down the window.
"Young people are fearless......" The moonlight lighted up his cold face.
"Cap, let's be cautious."
"Cautious about what? He's just an immature brat."
"But, look." The little brother pointed to the corpse of his companion.
The dagger was stabbed straight up in the middle of the neck, a perfect hit that destroyed the sound path and didn't let the unlucky assassin to make a sound, so it was a rhythmic death.
"That kid is a pro, such a precise and decisive approach, at least I can't do it." As the saying goes, outsiders see the action, but insiders see the way. All present were assassins, so of course they knew how difficult it was to make a precise kill with a flying knife at the moment the target turned around.
That kid is not a normal assassin.
"So what? I've seen a lot of kids in his age, they're all outcasts raised by nobles to be used as assassins, halfway abandoned!"
"If I didn't even dare to take the provocation of such kids, I wouldn't have to do my job as a 'one-eyed' Buck, I might as well go home and farm!"
"But since he dared to take the initiative, it proves that he is well prepared and must have other hidden cards." His subordinates were still worried.
"Hidden cards? What are you guys afraid of, an immature kid?" Buck completely disregarded the advice of his own subordinates and pushed them out of the way and went down through the window.
"Cap!" His subordinates had to follow him.
Several figures moved like lightning in the darkness and arrived at a coniferous forest on the outskirts of the city.
"Hey kid, have you chosen your grave?" The black shadow in front of him stopped, and Buck laughed.
"If you want to fight, you can, but you need to pay first."
"Pay? Why should I give money?"
"I only kill, don’t bury, you have to charge extra money for burying." Mo Li spread his hands.
"I'm just afraid you won't live to receive this money!"
When Mo Li said this, all the assassins in the room were enraged and rushed forward, determined to make this crazy kid pay the price.
"Don't worry, I'll do the math." Mo Li counted the heads, his head was not slow to dodge backwards, the deadly knife was like child's play to him, the rainstorm plunged, but he did not touch the slightest.
"There are ten of you, plus the one who died in my room is eleven, make that ten people, and charge you for ten silver coins, it's a good deal, right?
"Good deal your ass!" The assassins were so impatient that they were all using their best skills.
"Kid, come on!"
"Don't talk when you have the desire to attack." Mo Li's head tilted, dodging the white knife while turning around and wiping the assassin's neck, fast and accurate to the extreme.
Two more short swords came up, and Mo Li raised his hands, and the two arms that came from different directions were pushed away by him at the same time, then his palms placed on their necks.
"Clang clang!" The slim, sharp sleeve sword popped out of the cuffs, staining the necks of the two assassins with blood.
Pushing the two corpses aside and dwarfing his body, the concealed weapon flying from behind missed to hit Mo Li but hit his subordinate painfully.
When the enemy behind him briefly dazed, Mo Li slam him on the ground and stabbed him with a sleeve sword.
"This kid really have something." Buck narrowed his eyes, drew his sword, ready to fight with him.
"Get out of the way, let me deal with him!" Buck, pounced on him like a hungry wolf.
"Today I'll show you the power of 'One-Eyed' Buck!"
"Three, two ......." Mo Li ignored the one-eyed man running to him and mumbled the words.
"One." By the time Mo Li put down the last finger, he revealed a triumphant smile. "Down."
"Boom!" Everyone caught off guard and fell to the ground, and Buck, who was still in the sprint phase, was the worst.
"What's going on here?"
"What's going on? I can do a blood spell, can you believe it? .........Just joking." Mo Li smiled as he walked over and kicked Buck in the face. "Of course, it's because of the poison."
"I released the tasteless gaseous paralyzing toxin in my room before you came, just waiting for you to take the bait."
"Then why nothing happened to you?!"
"I have the antidote in my mouth." Mo Li spat out his tongue and a small white sugar ball rounded in his mouth.
"Damn it ........"
"You can only blame yourselves for being too stupid. The only thing you should consider about a prey whose trajectory is known in advance by an assassin is whether he should go to heaven or hell when he dies." Mo Li kicked Buck in the face.
"As assassins, you guys didn't even think of this, so stupid and so cute and ........"
"As assassins, you're actually unprepared for something like poison, it's just the simplest paralyzing powder, that's all. How dare you call yourselves assassins?"
