Mirror Chapters - She Likes Her
She, bored, sat in her chair, expressionlessly watching the class teacher repeat the same gibberish from the podium. The tedious slate screamed on the blackboard, soaring up chalk dust into a white mist.
She wasn't wise or diligent, she didn't listen to the class simply because she wasn't in the mood to listen.
Then in the evening, like a normal schoolgirl, while chagrined at the day's wandering, while re-read with resentment.
At that moment, a flash of blackness amidst the greenery outside the window attracted her.
She cocked her head and searched for the little clump of life leaping in the shade of the forest.
It was a black cat with white spots, with delicate ears and a petite body that made her instantly fall in love
-- so cute.
She decided certain things.
She wanted to have a pet and, in her mind, began to think pleasantly about what name to give it -- whether to call it Diane, or Anna.
Everything was decided by her feelings, without outside influence - so the cat's gender, whatever it was, would accept these names with the default female as the premise.
All that filled her mind now was the black cat with white spots, and vaguely, she felt that they were, between them, in need of each other.

The sunset spilled down the street corner, spreading warmth and fighting against the autumn cold.
After class, she stepped all over the campus in the green without success, and finally found it in the alley outside the school.
--It was called "Anna".
That was the first thing she felt when she saw it, no reason, just a feeling, just a desire to do so.
--Even though it was a male cat.
Its fur was quite messy and its body was weak, more pitiful than the epitome she had seen in the classroom, more than cute.
-- as if it were her own.
She carried it in her arms, bought the basket at the adjacent convenience store, dried cat food fish as well as milk, and after some careful care, her Anna, having fallen into a peaceful, restful sleep.
Usually, expressionless, her face also showed a gentle smile.
Even though the sunset was still fighting the autumn wind, the gradually approaching horizon was the irresistible end.
The bitter wind sent a chill down her spine. Looking at the humble basket, she pondered, hid Anna in a sheltered corner and made another trip to the convenience store.
And by the time she returned, her Anna, was with a boy who had appeared out of nowhere.
--He, to be exact, had appeared.
He was crouching in front of Anna with his legs bent, sneaking around, not knowing what he was doing.
Her slender hands, clutching the towel in her hands.
--An obstructive fellow.
Without hesitation, she turned around, purchased pepper spray at the convenience store, and rushed back in stride.
However, the guy who was in the way was no longer there.
Anna remained where she was, lying obediently in the basket, her big eyes blinking at her.
--Good.
She pillowed the towel into the basket, and Anna mewed softly, her tiny head nestled in her hand, soft and warm.
Her hand, running along Anna's fur, stroked gently on its back ...... with slightly closed eyes, listening sideways, as if
she were sensing Anna's thoughts.
--is it.
--another, hypocritical fellow.

Since she had Anna, her life had a lot more color.
Only, the time spent at school was still tedious.
During the lunch break, she, who didn't really want to eat yet, stayed alone in the classroom.
To her surprise, she saw Anna outside the window.
Anna had easily scaled the school fence and was dancing on the lawn with unknown meaning.
It was as if she had come here specifically to amuse her.
While she was having fun watching, a head thrusting from the side blocked her view.
The gentle gaze suddenly became cold, in order to protect herself, she learned early how to face the harsh life, so that this vice - has become a habit.
--Get out of my way.
She thought about this, thinking about how she could convey this awareness to the guy who was blocking her view.
By the time she regained her senses, the paper ball, which she had pinched at some point, had already flown out and hit the glass beside the guy who was in the way. --It was meant to hit him in the back of the head, but the guy avoided it.
The guy who was in the way looked her way, and she didn't flinch, she glared back viciously.
--in my way!
She pondered whether to throw another ball of paper to express her thoughts, but the guy who was in the way moved out of the way.
For a temporary class guide, he was quite understanding.
--Come to think of it, the boy she saw in the alley on the evening of the day Anna was adopted was also him.
However, that temporary class guide, that boy, interfered with her affairs again and repeatedly moved to cover up.
Although she initially wanted to put up with it and wait until the other party felt bored to quit on their own ...... , the boy got more and more playful.
The new feud added to the old one.
--kill you, asshole!
Just a momentary impulse, before she understood what she had done, she had removed the cap of the ballpoint pen, the tip of the pen pointed forward at the boy.
--The pen was already pointed forward at the boy.
However, the boy caught the pen with his fingers in the nick of time.
--Tsk.
Since he was fine, it was fine.
But she couldn't stand to be in the same room with this boy.
So, she simply left the classroom and decided in her mind where she would go.
She knew she was hopelessly in love with Anna.
