"At the moment, all I can tell you is that this matter is dangerous. Please do not actively involve yourself in it, and make sure to take care of your child. Do not let her be involved in the incident." The voice of Dojou Kazuaki was sincere and contained a serious warning that could not be disobeyed.

The weight of this voice made Koga Shie understand two things. First, under no circumstances should Mizuo be put in danger again. Second, Dojou Kazuaki was serious about this matter and could be trusted to handle the further investigation.

The communication was very effective, and Koga Shie was grateful that she had gone for a walk in the park that day and took the initiative to start a conversation. Otherwise, she would still be worrying alone.

After a conversation that lasted for some time, Koga Shie ended the visit voluntarily. "Well then, please take care, Officer Dojou."

"You're welcome. It's our duty to do these things."

At the entrance of the police station, Koga Shie bid farewell to Dojou Kazuaki and returned to their respective lives.

As a police officer, Dojou Kazuaki quickly shifted out of the visitor mode and entered into contemplation. "Speaking of which, Koga Mizuo, the daughter of Mrs. Koga, played a crucial role in the last incident... Although she's just a child, her actions and courage are enough to put many so-called 'adults' to shame."

Dojou Kazuaki watched Koga Shie's fading figure and pondered many things in his heart. Unconsciously, he expressed his innermost thoughts, "But... the mastermind behind this case is not so easily resolved."

Dojou Kazuaki sighed silently and instinctively reached into his jacket pocket to take out a cigarette pack, but found nothing. Only then did he remember that he had quit smoking a few weeks ago for the sake of his daughter, Kokoro. Some habits, some rules, drive the tides of the world and are not so easily changed.

If the efforts of his colleagues, related personnel, and the victims could become a catalyst for progress in the investigation, Dojou Kazuaki sincerely hoped for it.

While Koga Shie visited the police station, Koga Mizuo, who had skipped school, was walking briskly in the streets. Unlike other students who skipped just for fun, Koga Mizuo bore the responsibility that she shouldn't have at her age.

Knowing that she could be in danger at any time due to her investigation, Koga Mizuo bravely pursued every possible lead.

At this moment, she was looking for a coffee shop. She had learned from the residents near the scene of the last incident that a man involved in the case seemed to be working at a café in this generation.

However, the clues were not clear, and there were many coffee shops. Koga Mizuo painstakingly went from one to another, searching and eliminating each one.

"The decoration is quite old... The sign at the entrance depicts a cat... There's a row of blue hydrangeas in front of the door..."

She searched, continually speaking out the characteristics of her target to remind herself, so as not to forget.

But time was running out. Hizuki had made a promise with Yuki to return to school before gym class, or else her truancy would be revealed.

"It seems I'll have to go back and find another opportunity..."

Hizuki didn't want Yuki to be implicated because of her own disobedience, so she decided to immediately return to the municipal primary school after passing through the intersection.

Coincidentally, at that moment, a coffee shop with old-fashioned decor, a bronze sign with a cat drawing, and a row of blue hydrangeas at the entrance appeared in her line of sight.
