The next day, during lunch break, Su Yuqian and I decided to go to the rooftop for lunch. I thought it would just be the two of us, as nobody goes to the rooftop for lunch. It was like Su Yuqian and I had this place to ourselves. I was excited, thinking maybe we could do some couple things, like... well, not too daring, maybe just a kiss.

I couldn't help but fantasize about it. "Is her lips strawberry-flavored or lemon-flavored?" I was completely lost in my thoughts.

"Are you thinking about something dirty again? You pervert!" Su Yuqian interrupted my thoughts.

"Huh?" I was suddenly pulled out of my daydreaming. I stared at her, still half asleep, slow to react.

"Anyway... you always have your mind in the gutter... so disgusting," Su Yuqian said with a disgusted look on her face.

"Well..." I tried to speak, but she interrupted me.

"What? Can't speak because you're too perverted?" she said.

"Is your lips strawberry-flavored or lemon-flavored?" I asked.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" she replied.

"No! Why do you assume that I'm always thinking about dirty stuff?" I was getting confused.

"Do I need to show everyone the picture you just took?" Su Yuqian threatened.

I had imagined her taking a picture, even though it didn't seem believable.

"Besides, Muxi can testify," I mentioned.

Yuan Muxi, the girl who seemed a bit shy and embarrassed but had helped me before. Even though I didn't ask for her name at the time, and we didn't mention it later, even though we were in the same class, she seemed to have started avoiding me after Su Yuqian and I got closer. I felt ashamed because I didn't properly remember her name.

"Why does Muxi avoid me like that?" I whispered to myself, only audible to me.

"It's not like that... I'm a little..." I tried to explain, but suddenly, Muxi screamed.

"I didn't do anything..." I innocently replied.

"Then why is Muxi scared?" I asked.

"I don't know..." I suddenly responded loudly, unintentionally scaring Muxi.

"Sorry... it was involuntary..." I quickly apologized for my thoughtless behavior.

"It's... it's fine. I think it's not because of Yuqian intentionally scaring me, but it's probably because of me," Muxi said, sitting up straight, still trembling.

I felt a bit disappointed. It seemed that because of my inappropriate thoughts, someone who had helped me ended up hating me.
