34,

"Are you ready, Gran?"

"Yes, sir."

One of Mr. Cyclone's guards whispered in response.

"Good..."

Mr. Cyclone pulled on the reins and chose to stop once they entered the city gates.

Behind Mr. Cyclone, several men in identical attire were slowly approaching.

"Gran, take the last carriage and go find a hotel for us to stay tonight..."

Mr. Cyclone pretended to have thought of something and spoke loudly.

"Oh! By the way, if you have time...help me find some interesting places in this city~"

"I understand."

Unlike the other guards, Gran was their captain and also a member of the Wind Knights. Most importantly, the king had instructed that Gran must follow Mr. Cyclone's every command.

As for why the king assigned this person to follow Mr. Cyclone, Mr. Cyclone had a rough idea. Despite being the son of a farmer and bearing the name of Arlen's hero, there were few who would follow Mr. Cyclone's orders.

Gran was brought along for this reason. During the journey from Arlen City to Sunset City, Mr. Cyclone had come to understand Gran's way of thinking.

Gran was a man who lived carefree and if given a task, he would complete it exactly as instructed, neither doing too little nor too much. He would not ask why or consider right and wrong. As long as it was the king's command, he would complete it.

In other words, he was someone Mr. Cyclone could easily order around and also a monitor the king had placed beside Mr. Cyclone.

Gran took the carriage and left the city gate from the inside, which attracted considerable attention since it was different from the usual practice of departing from the outside.

The men behind Mr. Cyclone also arrived.

"My lord, the diplomat, I am your guide for Sunset City."

With these words, a series of formalities began.

Under the guide's arrangement, there was an inspection of everything and everyone, including the carriage, before the guide showed them around. Even the way of greeting differed among different countries.

The buildings within the royal city were similar to those of Arlen City, with the only exception being the fact that the king was also a member of the Romanian tribe.

Upon seeing the king, Mr. Cyclone couldn't help but wonder how many members of the Romanian tribe were now kings. Was it a world ruled by the Romanians?

With this irrelevant thought in mind, Mr. Cyclone engaged in formal talk with the king.

"Ellen's diplomat, thank you for coming."

"I am just here to bring a gift for King Arlen."

"Just a...one million worth gift, I am...impressed..."

Unlike Arlen's king who Mr. Cyclone knew, the Romanian king in front of him was very cautious. He would look to his ministers on both sides before he spoke, like a weak child who was afraid of offending others.

Although worth one million, this was not the total value of what Mr. Cyclone had brought for the king. He had brought a total of 40 million in wealth, with the carriage Gran took away actually containing 3.5 million in coins. The remaining carriage was filled with valuable items other than gold coins. Although precious, they only amounted to five million, even with three carriages.

This was the situation Mr. Cyclone understood at first sight, and it was the same as what King Arlen had described on the day they planned this trip.

The king was quite pitiful as he had already been embezzled most of the money midway through their journey.

Of course, Mr. Cyclone did not show any reaction.

"May I ask Mr. Cyclone how long he plans to stay in Sunset City? I have prepared a series of activities for you..."

Mr. Cyclone shook his head and then saluted the king.

"I will indeed stay in this city for a while, but as for the king's activities, I prefer to find interesting things on my own~""Is that so..." Mr. Cyclone brazenly refused the king, and the king's reaction was within Mr. Cyclone's expectations. After the formal meeting and formal reception, the gift was delivered to the king of Sunset City and Mr. Cyclone completed the first step. After leaving the royal city, one of the ministers approached Mr. Cyclone outside the city gate. A middle-aged, fat man dressed even more gorgeously than the king caught Mr. Cyclone's attention right in front of the throne. Mr. Cyclone thought he was Alan's version of the Great Chancellor, named Gubas, and he approached Mr. Cyclone with a proposal. "Sir, I know that you want to find some fun places, so I came here specifically to give you a suggestion." "Oh, oh, oh~" As sunset approached, Mr. Cyclone walked along the harbor of Sunset City, admiring the famous scenery, and arrived at the location Gubas suggested. "Oh, oh~ is this it?" ***
