Chapter 64,
"Eileen? Eileen?" Mr. Cyclone removed his hood, and there stood a golden-haired girl with red pupils before him.
"Sir," she replied.
Her smile was like that of a cherub, akin to a long-lost lover. Tears welled up in her eyes, but they were vastly different from the hateful look she had given him the last time they met.
But soon enough, Eileen lowered her head.
"Sir..."
While Mr. Cyclone had anticipated her return, as he had instructed Miss Marder at the time, that the seeds planted would eventually sprout, he hadn't expected to see her so soon.
What should he say?
With his hand still gripping Daniel's collar, Mr. Cyclone pondered for a moment.
But before he could say anything, Daniel spoke up.
"Miss Eileen, please go to the room upstairs first. I need to talk to Mr. Cyclone." Eileen nodded gently before making her way upstairs.
"...What else do you want, Daniel?"
"Oh, it seems that Miss Eileen has instantly extinguished Mr. Cyclone's anger," Daniel chuckled.
"Tsk!"
Mr. Cyclone didn't answer, because just as Daniel had said, Eileen's presence had lessened his fury.
"To be honest, there's nothing I need to discuss. I just asked Miss Eileen to come to the room for Mr. Cyclone's sake," Daniel said.
"..."
He truly was a dreadful man. While it was hard to guess Daniel's intentions, Mr. Cyclone could sense the kindness Daniel was extending toward him.
Releasing Daniel, Mr. Cyclone closed his eyes slightly and took a deep breath.
"I don't care about your deals and motives, but at least tonight, don't bother me!"
"Alright, Mr. Cyclone," Daniel replied.
Hearing Daniel's response, Mr. Cyclone followed him upstairs.
Pushing open the door to his room, a young girl was waiting for Mr. Cyclone inside.
"You came?" Mr. Cyclone asked gently.
"I-I'm sorry..." Eileen immediately apologized at the gentle tone Mr. Cyclone used.
"Why?"
Just like that day, Mr. Cyclone extended his hand and stroked Eileen's head.
Eileen didn't respond, but she lifted her head and tightly held Mr. Cyclone's hand with both of hers. Placing his hand on her chest, Eileen shed tears once again.
"It's not your fault, Eileen. That day, I thought... I thought..." Mr. Cyclone knew exactly what Eileen was trying to say. When he returned Eileen to Miss Marder, he said those words precisely for this moment.
Mr. Cyclone wasn't an idiot; this was his plan.
While Mr. Cyclone remained silent, Eileen put Mr. Cyclone's hand to her lips, as if gently treating it.
"Does it still... hurt?"
It was the finger that Eileen had bitten that day.
Everything was as Mr. Cyclone had anticipated. Eileen truly was a gentle and kind girl.
However, Mr. Cyclone was not a well-behaved boy. Even if he treated Eileen tenderly, his mind couldn't help but think of other things when he saw her watery eyes and felt the touch of her fingers on his.
His affection for Eileen was genuine, and setting up a plan to manipulate her was also real. Mr. Cyclone was just that kind of bad boy.
But today was different. The desire that had been stirred up by Elyse had reached an uncontrollable level.I ran back to the hotel in order to find Little Dragon, craving for a battle and eager to wield the holy sword. I swallowed a mouthful of saliva, ready to launch a second rational attack at Mr. Cyclone.
"Ouch... My sword..." he said.
Upon hearing Mr. Cyclone's words, Eileen became even shyer, and her face began to blush.
