Tang Cheng squatted beside the bespectacled man, noticing that his right thigh had been shot. Blood had already covered the floor, and the man was barely conscious. The five men and women nearby were only afraid, hiding and watching Tang Cheng, not understanding what he was trying to accomplish. Two young men even picked up sticks nervously, ready to attack Tang Cheng at any time. "He...he'll turn into a zombie soon!" "Don't get close to him!" "I don't want to be bitten by him!" It was clear that they were all afraid that Tang Cheng would suddenly attack them; after all, they had seen people bitten by zombies turn into flesh-eating monsters. Tang Wanyue, however, did not run away. She looked at Tang Cheng crouching next to the bespectacled man with doubt in her eyes, wondering, "Is he trying to save the gentleman?" Not caring about the others' frightened gazes, Tang Cheng pulled a piece of cloth and pressed his hands tightly on the wound to stop the bleeding. "Who can come over and help me hold his wound?" he shouted at the people in front of him. Silence. No one was willing to help. In these times, it's hard enough to save oneself, who has time to save others! Moreover, other people were more worried about whether Tang Cheng would attack them suddenly. "I...I'll help..." At this time, Tang Wanyue stood up shakily from the wall. Although she was still very scared, saving the gentleman was more important. "Yeah, hold his wound tightly!" Tang Cheng glanced gratefully at Tang Wanyue and asked her to press her hands on the spurting wound on the man's leg. "Okay!" Tang Wanyue did not hesitate, pressing her trembling hands on the bespectacled man's bloody thigh. The bright red blood immediately stained her pale hands. Tang Cheng quickly tore a strip of cloth and tied it tightly around the man's right thigh artery. The bleeding from the wound was more or less stopped, but because of the excessive blood loss, the man had already fallen into a coma, and it was hard to say whether he could survive. "Who here is a doctor?" Tang Cheng shouted at the people hiding by the wall. They remained silent and scared, not daring to approach. Among the five people, one was a balding middle-aged man, two were young men, and the other two were older women. Tang Cheng realized that they were afraid of him, so he immediately backed away a long distance. "This gentleman is dying; if any of you are doctors, please save him!" "Yes, please save him..." Tang Wanyue pleaded with teary eyes, "He was the one who saved me and got injured by those criminals. Please save him!" After some hesitation, a woman in her forties or fifties finally stood up, "Um, I...I am a veterinarian..." "A veterinarian is fine too!" At least a veterinarian is a doctor; Tang Cheng felt that perhaps the bespectacled man could still be saved. The female veterinarian came to the man's side, looked at the blasted-open wound, and frowned slightly. Because the injury was caused by a shotgun, there were still many bullet fragments inside. "The most important thing right now is to give him a blood transfusion. Unfortunately, there are no infusion tools here, and such a large wound also requires a lot of anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics, otherwise he will die from infection in the end." The female veterinarian looked distressed. Medicine was indeed a big problem. Even if the bullet fragments were removed, the wound could still become infected and die in the end. Moreover, there were zombies all around, and it was difficult to survive, let alone find medical supplies and drugs. "So, is this man going to..." Tang Wanyue lowered her gaze guiltily, realizing that the gentleman who saved her was in danger. "I can get the medicines!" Tang Cheng said, "I remember that there is a pharmacy in this building, if I'm not mistaken, it should be on the fifth floor!" He had wandered through the building with Miss ChuChu Ruoyun before and vaguely remembered that there was a large pharmacy supermarket on the fifth floor."Will you go get it?"

"There are zombies all over this building!"

The female vet and the people in the room were all shocked as they looked at Tang Cheng. They all knew that the outside was filled with zombies, and going out would mean death!

Risking going to the upper floors for medication for a dying person was something no one would be willing to do!

"I just escaped from the fifth floor... it's all filled with zombies!" A panic-stricken middle-aged man shouted, he was a staff member of a store on the fifth floor.

"I escaped from the fifth floor too! My husband was bitten by those zombies while trying to save me..." A tearful woman looked fearfully at Tang Cheng's rotten left face, seemingly recalling the zombies that bit her husband to death.

"I'll go get the medicine, you guys take care of this uncle." Tang Cheng turned around and walked towards the door. With his current state of not being attacked by zombies, it didn't seem to be a difficult task to fetch medicine from the fifth floor.

Clearly, he was the only one who could do this now!

"Classmate, let's discuss it more, there are quite a few zombies outside!" Tang Wanyue called out to Tang Cheng, who was turning around, with worried eyes.

Tang Cheng could hear Tang Wanyue's concern for him, which made him feel a little relieved.

"It's okay, I've already been bitten by a zombie, I'm doomed sooner or later."

Tang Wanyue and the others in the room were all shocked at Tang Cheng's words. A person who had been bitten by a zombie didn't care about his own life or death but was rather thinking about saving others?

"Block the door well. If I don't make it back, it means I'm already dead..." After saying this, Tang Cheng quickly walked towards the exit.

"Classmate, I... I'll go with you! I've read some books on pharmacy, maybe I can help..." Tang Wanyue's voice trembled as she stopped Tang Cheng, but it was clear that she was actually very scared.

Following Tang Cheng to get the medicine would not only face the danger of being attacked by other zombies but also the risk of being bitten by him.

"No need." Tang Cheng turned his face around and said to Tang Wanyue behind him: "You better stay here! I only have one gun, and I may not be able to protect you. Besides, it seems like you're afraid of me too, right?"

Tang Wanyue's hands couldn't help but tremble a little, as if her inner thoughts had been revealed. She had witnessed her two classmates being bitten to death by zombies, and Tang Cheng's rotten left face was exactly the same as those flesh-eating zombies, which naturally made her very scared!
