Picking up a white box of medicine from the rack, he noticed that it was Penicillin, essentially amoxicillin; an incredibly potent antibiotic. Its microbial properties were strong, making it an antibiotic commonly used by wounded individuals. He also gathered Amoxicillin, medications from the cephalosporin family, Azithromycin, disinfectant peroxide, among others, into his medical box and then moved towards the refrigerator nearby, wondering if it stored any blood packs.

Fortunately, there were some blood packs stored in the refrigerator, covering all the blood types.

"Right, I'm not sure what blood type that uncle is. He seems to have gone into shock..." Just to be cautious, he also grabbed antibodies for the AB blood type so he could verify the uncle's blood type at the scene. After he had all the necessary supplies loaded into the medical box, he was ready to go.

"Goodbye, nurse. See you next time!" He waved a farewell to the girl by the medicine rack, knowing she could not respond, and walked briskly towards the store exit with the medical box on his back. To prevent more zombies from entering the pharmacy, he made sure to shut the double door tightly on his way out.

Inside the building, the zombies continued to wander aimlessly; he passed them carrying the medical box, and they didn't seem to pay him any attention.

In this post-apocalyptic world where humans began facing extinction, perhaps his least worry was being attacked by a zombie. He descended the stairs safely.

"Damn, I forgot. The gun is still in the pharmacy…" As soon as he returned to the second floor, he remembered leaving his shotgun behind in the pharmacy. "Well, it seems like the gun is of no use to me now...” He returned to the steakhouse on the second floor with the medical box, only to find that the door was already locked and guarded with chairs.

"Open the door, I'm back." He called out, understanding that these people were on guard against him.

"He’s alive?" "How is that possible?"

"How did he do that?"

The sight of him standing at the door with the medicine box surprised everyone inside. They could hardly believe he had managed to safely retrieve medicine from the fifth floor crawling with zombies.

The two young men, Zhang Pi and Li Dan, gripped their clubs tightly and stood near the door, ready to ward off a potential attack.

"You've returned!" Tang Wanyue yelled out in surprise and tried to run towards the door. However, she was immediately stopped by Zhang Pi and Li Dan.

"Throw the medical box inside and leave!" They held their clubs, guarding the door, leaving only a gap large enough for the medical box to pass through. They weren’t giving him an opportunity to enter.

"I understand, I'll leave," Tang Cheng said noticing the expressions of everyone inside; none of them seemed willing to let him in.

"I'm sorry…" Tang Wanyue apologized, her gaze lowered. Although she wanted to help, she knew she couldn’t do much.

The veterinary woman and the middle-aged man kept their heads down, not uttering any words.

"You... you are a human-eating zombie! My husband was bitten to death by you!" shouted the woman whose husband was killed by a zombie. She stared at Tang Cheng in hatred, seeming to place all blame on him.

"Understand this, we've made our decision. Nobody wants to let a dangerous zombie like you in!" shouted Zhang Pi coldly.

"You should just stay outside, zombie!" Li Dan, noticing that Tang Cheng didn't have a gun with him, believed that he'd lost it and was therefore absolutely fearless.

"Fine, I’ll leave," Tang Cheng replied, not wanting to frighten them further. He dropped the medical box and walked away from the door. "Take care of that uncle," he added.

Despite knowing that his current appearance is repulsive and would face rejection, experiencing it made him somewhat melancholic.

In others' eyes, he was just a zombie now, a monster ready to devour humans at any moment. The human world where he used to belong had long lost its place for him.
