Instantly, the tide of battle shifted, and the Federal soldiers, who were now trapped in a melee, were completely outmatched by the Imperial forces. Despite outnumbering their opponents two to one, the characteristics of the Federal army were rendered useless in this type of combat.

Even the mages, who were often mocked as "close combat weaklings," were able to overpower four or five Federal soldiers in close proximity. The ever-changing nature of magic was not something that the firearm-wielding Federal soldiers could contend with.

One natural mage even summoned a towering bear that stood as tall as two people, wreaking havoc in the rear of the Federal lines. In just a matter of moments, the Federals were in disarray with heavy casualties.

This battle was winnable!

The members of the recruitment team gained confidence. They thought to themselves, "The Federal soldiers aren't as formidable as they claim to be. They are just a bunch of arrogant show-offs, forming a triangle formation. Today, I will shatter their confidence..."

Seeing this, Natasha's expression turned sour. "A bunch of useless fools! You can't even handle a few earth-tier mages... Today, I will teach you how to fight!"

With those words, Natasha drew her two sleek and beautifully decorated handguns from her waist, the Thompson Annihilator.

This weapon was the pride and joy of the Federal Magic Arsenal Master, Ivan Zoro. It didn't require loading bullets and fired a high-pressure mixture of magic and gas, possessing remarkable penetrating power that terrified even the mages.

It was well-known that mages detested external magic entering their bodies' circuits as it caused strong rejection reactions. This would result in the disruption of their magical fluctuations, ranging from being unable to cast spells to exploding on the spot.

However, one characteristic of the Imperial people was that regardless of their profession, they all had to learn some magic...

Even the most useless Imperial bureaucrat in the convoy had a magic circuit... No, a magic line segment.

Naturally, such an imbalanced magical tool required high proficiency from its user.

Although the overall magical talent of the Federal soldiers was mediocre, Natasha was an exception. Her magical prowess was about fifty percent of peak Amelia, making her already formidable. This was why she had become an elite ghost agent.

"You foolish Imperial pigs!"

"Today, I will show you what true power is."

"Ahhhhh! Kill these dogs of the Federation! For the Empire..."

Just as a valiant ax-wielding warrior was about to raise his arms to rally morale, Natasha shot him in the heart, taking away his life with a single shot.

"What is this...?" The warrior clutched his chest in agony. Before he could utter his last words, his entire body's magic circuits erupted in a violent flash, causing him to explode.

A rain of blood filled the sky, and Natasha's figure emerged, leaving behind a trail of lingering shadows as she charged towards the Imperial soldiers, instilling fear in them.

This scene was truly terrifying, instantly paralyzing the Empire side.

Graceful as a swan, agile as a dragon, Natasha entered the battlefield, her nimble movements complementing her accurate shooting, once again reversing the course of the battle.

The mages couldn't even comprehend what had happened before they started exploding one by one, causing the smell of blood in the air to become several times stronger...

Relying solely on Natasha, the Federation began another massacre against the convoy.

"Devil... that woman is a devil!"

Terrified and losing their senses, the mages scattered in all directions, only to be cornered and captured by the soldiers with bayonets. They obediently surrendered.

After several rounds of desperate fighting, the Imperial soldiers were powerless to break free. The survivors were forced to gather in the open space where they had originally camped.

"Kneel down, all of you!"

Facing the menacing aura emanating from Natasha, the crowd dared not express anger and meekly offered their knees. Fear of death enveloped their hearts.

Wiping the hot barrel of her gun with a woolen handkerchief, Natasha paced around the crowd, her eyes filled with cruelty as she surveyed them. A twisted smile adorned her lips as she coldly said:

"You all thought you were strong, right? Why aren't you fighting back now?"

Suddenly, Natasha grabbed the collar of a female mage and held onto her terrified face, smiling maliciously. "Hey, I'm talking to you... Why aren't you fighting back? Huh?"

"I, I..." The mage was so scared that her words were incoherent. Trembling all over, tears glistened in her eyes as she begged, "Please, spare me, I'm innocent..."
