What should I do now?

Lyle stood on the street, looking somewhat bewildered.

Having no recreational activities, he never thought about where he could go if he didn't go to the library.

He bought two steamed buns from a street vendor, and ate while thinking.

"How long will it take you to get down to the forty-fifth floor?"

Lyle turned around and saw a girl with somewhat burgundy hair.

She wore a gradient light blue dress and a light and transparent silk, her delicate face looked pretty.

She was the adventurer and captain of the Crystal Tears Adventure Group, Bellis.

She was also competing for a position in the Mythical Adventure Group.

She was Sia's biggest enemy in her imagination.

Lyle often saw her when he set up a stall at the market, selling the harvests from the dungeon that day.

She always looked vigilant, Lyle did not expect that she would take the initiative to talk to him today.

"I don’t know," Lyle shook his head.

Bellis frowned, "Can't you even say that?"

"I really don't know."

Lyle smiled bitterly, "I have already quit Moon Bloom."

Bellis was taken aback, "Really?"

Lyle nodded.

Sia was probably still thinking about why Lyle suddenly had such a big nerve today.

Bellis's heart was a bit restless, both publicly and privately.

As a competitor, she had studied this team well.

No one knows how many people die in the dungeon every day.

It is a fact that Moon Bloom's progress was slower than that of Crystal Tears.

But Moon Bloom's failure rate so far was zero.

This was a terrifying figure.

Because it meant that they had considerable gains every time they entered the dungeon.

"It seems like you were driven away? Tsk...”

Lyle smiled bitterly, "It's not a glorious thing, no need to keep mentioning it."

Bellis thought for a moment, "Would you like to have a drink with me, do you have time?"

Lyle hesitated.

"Don't worry, your Sia princess won't go out at this time."

Bellis sneered with a sarcastic smile.

Bellis ordered a pitcher of beer and brought two large glasses.

Lyle hadn't had a drink in a long time.

The three young ladies didn't allow him to drink.

It was said that it was unsafe to have a man in the house who drank, and the smell of alcohol was also unpleasant...

Heh...

Bellis took a big gulp of the beer, then leaned back in her chair with satisfaction, "There's been a question I've always wanted to ask, how did you guys get through the crystal corridor on the forty-third floor with countless molten rock lizards so quickly?"

Lyle thought for a moment, "The molten rock lizards are obsessed with red berries. We just threw them off the cliff of the crystal corridor while we walked. The lizards all jumped down like dumplings, making loud noises."

The two looked at each other.

Bellis's face was obviously full of astonishment, disbelief, and various complex emotions.

Lyle felt awkward, "I spent three days in the library to think of this method, and Sia got really mad at me for the delay."

Bellis's beautiful eyes widened slowly, looking somewhat adorable, "Which library?"

"The Adventurer's Manuscript in the library, the sixth book on the thirteenth floor, the fifteenth page."

"Someone had seen the molten rock lizards leaving the Crystal Corridor, feasting on red berries in the eastern forest of the forty-third floor, and ignoring their own presence…”

Bellis interrupted, "The manuscripts? Does anyone actually read those densely written adventurer's diaries and obituaries?"

Lyle fell silent for a moment, "I'm almost done reading all of them."

Don't you guys ever look at strategies when you're in a dungeon? Don't you research the ecology of monsters?

Lyle was puzzled, "Isn't this what a Scholar should do?"

Bellis twitched her lips, "That's precisely why Sia doesn't know how to cherish you. Our Scholars only hide behind us, telling us the weaknesses of molten rock lizards, where their armor can be roasted, and where they can be chopped."

"There's a lot I don't know."

Lyle sighed, taking a sip of the cold beer. "It's all in the Academy's textbooks, but I can't even take a look."

"But our tactic is to kill them one by one, well, as that top student put it, it's safe and secure."

"Is there a problem?"

"After a full fifteen days of killing, now when I see a lizard, I still feel nauseous, wishing I could blind my own eyes."

"..."

Bellis drank quickly, slightly tipsy, with a touch of flush on her face: "This is the Academy's top student, Lyle, do you know how much I dream of having you? You are really the most imaginative Scholar I've ever seen."

Lyle hesitated a bit.

Actually, he wasn't quite sure how other Scholars did it.

Everyone keeps their thoughts and ideas to themselves.

He hadn't even gone to school.

He could only think for himself.

Were they all just winging it?

Am I the only one messing around?

"Lyle, I actually want to invite you to join the Crystal Tears Adventure Team."

Bellis propped her chin with her elbow, and there was obvious desire in her beautiful red pupils.

"Me?"

Lyle was puzzled, "Didn't you have a new Scholar join? I heard from Sia that he was a top student."

"What top student? He's just a hungry jackal."

Bellis looked irritated, "I have to give him 40% of the dungeon profit every time, and he keeps harassing my female teammates, just because he's had two years of education? What's there to be proud of?"

Lyle sighed, holding his wine glass, "Education is important, there are many books I want to read but can't."

Bellis said seriously, "I've studied Moon Bloom, to be honest, I might understand you better than Sia does. Your decisions and plans, they are really imaginative."

"Thank you, but I'm scared."

Lyle shook his head, "I want to rest."

"Do you really like Sia?"

Lyle laughed, "Do you think so too?"

To be honest, Sia was quite cute.

Speaking of which... I kinda want to see her regret and despair...

Lyle's face changed slightly, realizing there seemed to be something wrong with his thoughts.

He quickly slapped himself on the cheeks.

"Everyone thinks so."

Bellis was already a little drunk, her eyes were blurred, "Actually, you are quite handsome and a nice person. Now that we're not enemies anymore, I find that I quite like you. Really, those three young ladies were spoiled by you."

"There's no point in saying this, I've already quit."

Lyle shook his head.

Adventuring is not only about swords and magic.

So Lyle naturally took on all the darkness and heaviness behind this beauty.

Of course, he never talked about these things.

It's not necessary anymore.

Bellis clinked glasses with him, "It's not worth it."

As a Scholar, serving both as a logistician and a servant.

He sold materials and crystals in the market, ate steamed buns when he had no time for lunch.

He had to bring a beautiful box of cake for the three young ladies when he got back, then hand over a large amount of gold coins to them, for their pretty clothes and equipment.

He had done enough already.

If I had such a Scholar, would my mouth be crooked with happiness even in my dreams?

However, Lyle's departure from Moon Bloom was also a thing worth celebrating.
