Some say that destiny is like a giant roulette wheel, and it is only when the ball representing one's own destiny truly lands in a specific compartment that the fates of us insignificant beings are revealed. Many times, people misjudge, and often the compartment is not even the color it appears to be.

But long, long ago, there was a great and wise existence who said, "Destiny is far from fair. There are always unlucky little fellows who perish under the feet of their siblings the moment they hatch from their eggshells."

"I do not agree with those who lament the unfairness of destiny," she continued. "What I mean is, destiny is indeed unfair, but in my opinion, destiny is always perfect!"

This is the story of a rabbit who had just become a Paladin Bunny. She lived on an elf island, where it was well-known that the eyes of the elf sentinels were sharper than eagles', and they could see everything that happened in the forest.

They knew when someone died in the wild or when sacred beasts fought. With their eyes sharper than eagles' and their ears more sensitive than leopards', the elves possessed powerful perception by birthright. That's why there were so many mages among them. Apart from being more attuned to magical energies, elven mages also had better control than mages of other races.

Of course, this was just a starting point. The mage profession was difficult to describe and explain, but the mysterious realm of mages was always open to everyone.

So this newly Paladin Bunny was always careful to stay hidden in the wild, fearing to alert the elf sentinels at any moment. She was an accidental product of a teleportation experiment. Originally, a few students from the mage academy planned to conduct a random teleportation experiment as a punishment for their rejected mage apprentice. The leading student kidnapped the apprentice's pet Tim and intended to use it as a sacrifice for the random teleportation.

Random teleportation was a difficult spell to control, with much lower energy consumption compared to true teleportation. However, the drawback was its randomness. It could teleport not only to a specific point on the continent, but to any location, even underground, stuck in a wall, or high up in the sky.

Despite its danger, adventurers still used scrolls of random teleportation as a means of escape, as these scrolls were relatively cheap.

The goal of these mage students was to improve the random teleportation scroll. However, the end result was Tim being teleported deep into the elf island. As many people knew, the elven forest was filled with powerful beasts, and small animals like Tim could hardly survive.

The specific details were unknown to anyone, even the rabbit herself had forgotten. But she managed to survive in the forest and was chosen by Tim's patron deity to become a Paladin Bunny. When she realized what had happened to her, she already had a divinely bestowed crossbow in her hands.

She found a tree hollow as her dwelling and explored the surrounding terrain day after day.

"Hmm?"

Today, the small rabbit encountered an unexpected situation. Not far from her, a human lay face down on the ground.

"Trouble!"

The small rabbit panicked and ran back and forth, trying to call for help, until she realized there was nobody nearby.

She hopped over to the person, extended her paw, and gently touched the person's neck. When she confirmed that there was no pulse, she gasped for breath.

"Ah... no breath... hmm..."

The small rabbit stared at the body with its belly torn open by an unknown beast. After hesitating for a while, she finally started searching through the belongings on the corpse - the pouch on the belt, the small pockets on the clothes - she didn't miss anything.

After all, for a rabbit living alone in the forest, anything could come in handy.

The rewards made the little rabbit very happy. There were several metal components that could be processed into tools, as well as some coins. Although she couldn't use them yet, the knowledge that "coins are used for trading" was imparted to her by Tim's patron deity.

But what made the small rabbit happiest was a water bottle on the person's waist. It was made entirely of gold, and it was something the small rabbit had always wanted. Unfortunately, for some reason, this water bottle was very small, only slightly bigger than a human palm, and flat."What's inside? Hmm!"

Shorty the rabbit opened the lid of the kettle and sniffed the smell inside, then moved away in disgust.

Because there was a very strong and pungent smell coming from inside, although it was uncomfortable to smell, surprisingly, it was also appealing.

"Hmm... maybe a small sip won't hurt?"

Shorty the rabbit eventually succumbed to temptation and took a small sip of the liquid inside, then drank it all in big gulps and immediately felt her body starting to heat up.

Then everything spun, even though she still had plenty of energy, she stumbled and staggered.

"Hmm?! Hmm!"

Just as she was surprised by her new experience, a huge figure appeared, sharp fangs, gigantic claws.

It was a beast, oh no, she had to run away, she would be eaten.

Shorty the rabbit's mind suddenly thought of many random things, but because of the liquid she had just consumed, she became unable to move her legs properly.

In the end, the beast grabbed Shorty the rabbit in its mouth, but did not bite her.

Huh?... Was it planning to bring her back to feed the young cubs?

While she was thinking that, the strange liquid finally deprived her of consciousness and put her to sleep.

She didn't know how far she had gone, how much distance she had traveled.

When Shorty the rabbit opened her eyes, she found herself lying in a sunken cave, scattered with twigs and hay.

There were some little wolf cubs around, they looked like little dogs, all with brown fur.

So it was a forest wolf... That immediately confirmed the real face of the beast that had carried her away.

But these wolf cubs were still asleep, so she hadn't been eaten yet.

Just as she was thinking of leaving the wolves' den, there was a loud noise outside as if there was a big fight going on.

Shorty the rabbit carefully did not wake up the wolf cubs, sneaking to the entrance of the cave.

She saw the adult forest mother wolf fighting a huge beast, a dragon king tiger, a creature with scales similar to a dragon and a body like a tiger.

That was a ferocious beast, and it enjoyed preying on other carnivores, slightly more dangerous than other big beasts.

Although not as powerful as the green-colored great wolf.

When Shorty the rabbit saw it, the forest mother wolf had already had her throat bitten off by the dragon king tiger, convulsed a few times on the ground, and finally stopped moving.

The dragon king tiger glanced around and looked in the direction of Shorty the rabbit, then walked over.

Oh no... it was going to eat the cubs!

No, but it had nothing to do with her, right? She could just run away, couldn't she?

Shorty the rabbit glanced back and forth between the scary footsteps coming from the entrance of the cave and the sleeping wolf cubs, then finally decided to rush up and wake them up.

She slapped the wolf cubs hard to wake them up, and desperately gestured to them to run away in front of the awakened wolf cubs.

But the wolf cubs thought she wanted to play a prey hunting game, so they started playfully wrestling with her.

"Oh no! I'll be eaten like this!"

Shorty the rabbit picked up one of the wolf cubs, and as she wanted to pick up another one, she realized her arms were not long enough.

"Hmm!~!!!! Saving one is still saving one!"

As she shouted like this, the wolf cub she was holding squirmed restlessly and ran out of the cave's entrance.

In an instant, the dragon king tiger saw her, and glanced at the other little wolf cubs inside the cave.

Then it slashed its claw, turning all the little wolf cubs into unrecognizable minced meat, making a sound like being run over by a car.

Afterwards, the dragon king tiger didn't intend to let its food escape, and began chasing it behind Shorty the rabbit.

Perhaps because the wolf cub she was holding was scared by the dragon king tiger, or maybe it saw its mother's body and its siblings turning into minced meat, anyway, the wolf cub settled down.

This made Shorty the rabbit's escape much easier, even so, the dragon king tiger's pace was still much faster than hers, so the distance did not increase.

It's also possible that the dragon king tiger didn't feel rushed, so the distance didn't decrease either.

Running aimlessly like this, Shorty the rabbit finally discovered a small cave that was just enough for her and the wolf cub to enter.

A cave that the dragon king tiger definitely couldn't enter. She thought it through and stuffed the wolf cubs into the cave one by one, then she rushed into the cave herself.

Outside, there were the wild roars of the Dragon King and the Tiger, probably because the meat that was about to reach its mouth was gone, which made it very unhappy.

But since that guy was still blocking the entrance, she couldn't go back the way she came.

The little rabbit could only lead the wolf cubs further into the cave.

The two of them groped in the dark for a long time, and suddenly, their feet gave way and they fell into the water.

The rabbit and the wolf immediately held their breath and struggled in the water for a long time.

But in the darkness, they couldn't even distinguish up from down or left from right, and they didn't know which way to swim.

Unexpectedly, when the two of them were holding their breath to the limit, they exhaled and found that they could breathe in this water?

The rabbit and the wolf were very surprised as they swam in the water. In fact, swimming in it did not require much effort and they could breathe freely.

It was not tiring at all.

Suddenly, a blue light shone and a huge figure appeared in front of the little rabbit.

This was a creature she had never seen before and knew nothing about.

It looked somewhat like a snake, but it felt more majestic than a snake, too big and too majestic, giving people a sense of sacredness.

The little wolf cub hid behind the small rabbit in fear, and the small rabbit didn't know what to say. Even if she wanted to run away, the huge body would not allow them to escape.

"Do not be afraid, I will not devour you."

The gentle voice of the huge creature reached their ears.

"I have rarely seen beings who come to this place. How did you get in? Ah... through that small cave?"

"Yes, yes."

The little rabbit replied stiffly.

"I have never seen a creature like you before. Ah... your body carries a complex and distant destiny."

"Destiny?"

"Yes, destiny. But it is not for me to reveal."

"Sorry, I don't quite understand what you're saying..."

"No, don't worry about it. I want to reward you, little adorable creature. Your unexpected arrival has opened up a destiny that I have never seen before, and ah... the shining soul will surely guide another shining soul... I want to reward you."

The giant creature approached the little rabbit, making her tremble involuntarily.

"Little adorable creature, do you have any knowledge that you want to know? As long as it is something I know, I can impart it to you."

Knowledge?

If necessary... she already knows everything she needs to know.

The little rabbit suddenly remembered the pungent liquid, which, though strange, was unexpectedly enjoyable to drink.

She raised her head and looked at the giant creature.

"Then, do you know..."

"Hello! Fearless Elder."

Tina stood by the sea, with a half-grown forest wolf crouching next to her.

In front of her, a small pirate ship's deck stood an old rabbit wearing a captain's uniform.

"Oh, little brat, I heard you can make fine wine?"

"Yes!"

Tina smiled proudly and raised the small barrel in her hand.
