Moonless, originally named Yue Wu, is forever 17 years old in the game world. He has the appearance of a silver-white ponytail and is the creator of the adventurer group "Ten Rights Organization". Initially a priest, he later mastered the abilities of all professions in the game and carries a large number of equipment, consumables, and materials. She was transformed from a human into a vampire to conserve magical power. Lori usually takes the form of a six or seven-year-old girl and wears her trophies, the horns of a demon. She likes to sleep behind the throne in the deepest part of the dungeon and has a kind and innocent personality, but she dislikes all humans except Moonless.
When Moonless first meets Lori, she goes through a time-traveling experience and accepts the token of their love from him, the Holy Artifact True Ancestor's Heart, which is actually a super artifact. She initially develops a liking for Moonless and learns that he carries the "evil of the world" on him, in the form of world-class equipment imprints on his body. She fears that he may suffer the same fate as herself – being killed by humans – and invites him to the demon world. However, her invitation is rejected, and she watches as Moonless leaves the dungeon.
Over a month later, Lori leaves the dungeon and finds Moonless, who is lost in thought, in the Forest of Fingali. She expresses her feelings for him, but Moonless does not respond. Joan of Arc, the second female character in this story, is fully named Joan of Arc Dacker. She is fourteen years old and used to be a normal girl from the village of Donglemei. She encounters Moonless while gathering herbs in the wilderness and asks for his help when she is being chased by a Dimaira (sluggish type). After Moonless rescues her, Joan of Arc invites him to Donglemei Village to show her gratitude. However, Moonless stops her before they arrive and exposes the culprit responsible for the massacre in Donglemei Village (a member of the Andumari Snake). Moonless resolves the situation in Donglemei Village and purifies and frees the villagers.
The next day, Joan of Arc follows Moonless to the nearby town of Saxon City and settles down there. Moonless teaches Joan of Arc combat and priest skills. During this time, Joan of Arc joins the "Ten Rights Organization" created by Moonless and becomes the bearer of the "Ten Rights Organization" punitive badge.
