"I'm here, has the identity of the monster at the anomaly point been uncovered?" Minamoto Heart leaped effortlessly over the school gate, advancing towards the heart of the school while talking to Schade on the phone.

There was no sound in the school, even quieter than during holidays. Describing it as quiet was inappropriate; the current situation could only be described as dead silent. Minamoto Heart could sense patches of demonic energy, varying in strength. Among them, two stronger demonic energies were gathering together. Minamoto Heart believed that they must be two Exorcists of B rank or higher. As a Searcher, Minamoto Heart's most famous ability was his perception of demonic energy. As long as the other person released their demonic energy, he could sense it even from a considerable distance and clearly distinguish whether it belonged to a monster or an Exorcist's energy.

"Before that, aren't there any other questions you want to ask?" Schade didn't directly answer his question, but responded with a counter-question on the other side of the phone.

"I don't need to ask you about the location of the monster, I can sense it," Minamoto Heart said impatiently. As one of the most outstanding Searchers, he had his own confidence.

"I knew you would answer that way, but I'm sorry, Sourced Senpai, your perceptual ability has subtle errors," Schade said casually, with a hint of a smirk in her tone. As the second-in-command of the Exorcist Guild, Schade had absolute authority. If a subordinate of the guild made a mistake, Schade would definitely criticize them. But now she was facing her former senior, no matter how high her status was, she was still just a girl. Seeing Minamoto Heart's mistake, she couldn't help but feel a little happy, like a child who is happy when they see their elder making a mistake.

"What do you mean?" Minamoto Heart's cold tone added a hint of urgency, which made Schade unable to help but secretly rejoice in her heart. But she couldn't really laugh out loud because the current situation didn't allow her to do so.

"The previous anomaly point has not reappeared. What has appeared now is a new anomaly point," Schade said.

"So, two anomaly points have appeared in the same town. Could it be that two monsters of this level have gone berserk together?" Minamoto Heart's tone was rare with a hint of surprise.

"No, there's still only one in terms of quantity. According to the judgment of the higher-ups in the guild, the reason why this monster at the anomaly point went berserk for the first time was simply that it couldn't control its emotions. But the second time was different, it really went berserk and possessed extremely strong aggressiveness. The characteristics of the two anomaly points are completely different," Schade continued.

"So, you mean that the monster might still have a benevolent nature?" Minamoto Heart asked.

Although that's the case, her danger level has still reached A rank and falls under the 'priority elimination' category," Schade continued, "Now I can answer your original question. This monster belongs to the Dragon race, the 'Demon-faced Dragon'. The monster's codename is 'Double Moon' and it has already been recorded in the guild's files."

"Double Moon? You actually gave it such a name in the East style." Minamoto Heart felt somewhat surprised.

"It's not our doing, because the name of that dragon is originally called Double Moon."

...............

After the call with Schade ended, Minamoto Heart rushed towards the place with the densest demonic energy. Along the way, he took care of a few monsters. Although he said he dealt with them, he only knocked them unconscious with the hilt of his sword. He knew that these monsters were inherently kind and didn't need to take their lives. Just as Minamoto Heart entered the teaching building, he saw a girl not far ahead running with a limp, followed by a large group of "students" with diverse appearances.

"She is..." Minamoto Heart remembered that face and those eye-catching twin ponytails. Wasn't she the girl he met at the "White House Detective Agency"?

Minamoto Heart drew the wide-bladed sword from behind, gripping it in his hand, and walked towards the girl and the group of monsters.

White Rosa also noticed the "male detective" wearing a windbreaker. Her throat was dry, preventing her from speaking clearly, but the will to survive was already written on her face. Suddenly, she stepped on a piece of broken glass under her foot, lost her balance, and fell heavily to the ground. A monster saw this as an opportunity and immediately lunged at her, ready for a friendly match between a beast and a loli. But it was clearly fouling to attack someone who had fallen. The "referee" Minamoto Heart made a swift decision, and the hilt of his sword struck the monster's chin, causing it to spin three hundred and sixty degrees before flying out. While Minamoto Heart was attacking the guy who flew out, the other monsters cunningly launched a surprise attack from the side. They completely ignored Minamoto Heart and targeted White Rosa, who was struggling on the ground.

Minamoto Heart drew his sword, and a blue aura burst out from the sword. He placed the sword next to White Rosa, and with a clang, the monsters trying to approach White Rosa were repelled by the aura emanating from the sword. Minamoto Heart returned the sword to its sheath and swung the sheath at the approaching monsters, each strike unleashing a wave of blue aura that knocked the monsters away.

This was Minamoto Heart's ability as an Offence. The sword blade possessed formidable attack power, while the sheath provided absolute defense. In previous battles, Minamoto Heart had used the sheath as a shield, overpowering his enemies. But now, he couldn't afford to take lives, so repelling the enemies with the sheath was enough.

The repelled monsters crashed into the wall, causing a loud noise and losing consciousness. As other monsters were drawn to the sound and gathered in increasing numbers, Minamoto Heart decided not to prolong the fight. He picked up White Rosa and carried her on his shoulders, preparing to retreat.

"Let me go! I can walk on my own!" White Rosa was startled by Minamoto Heart's action. This guy, who was a head taller than White Goodson, seemed like a giant in her eyes. Suddenly being lifted so high off the ground scared her a little.

Minamoto Heart was neither a burly man nor a rough-looking uncle. Under his gentlemanly appearance, he had an unexpectedly strong physique. His shoulders were much broader than White Goodson's, but it didn't make White Rosa feel reassured.

"If you don't behave, I'll throw you down right now," Minamoto Heart said coldly. He wasn't White Rosa's brother, so there was no way he would say comforting words. To make White Rosa behave, using such naked threats was the best approach. Although it was a threat, Minamoto Heart wouldn't really abandon her.

But how could White Rosa know what kind of person Minamoto Heart was? All she knew was that this man was cold in both appearance and words, so he might really abandon her. So, White Rosa obediently kept quiet, like a frightened little animal, but she didn't want to hold onto Minamoto Heart's shoulders.

With White Rosa on his shoulders, the two of them moved forward in a strange posture at high speed. White Rosa almost fell off Minamoto Heart's shoulder several times, and he didn't understand why she didn't hold onto him tightly. But this wasn't something Minamoto Heart needed to consider at the moment. As they moved forward, he saw many students frozen in place, indicating that the temporal barrier had not disappeared. White Rosa showed no reaction to magic and yet was not protected by the barrier, which puzzled him.

"Detective, where are we going now?" White Rosa asked Minamoto Heart, her voice small because she was afraid he would get angry and abandon her.

"We're going to solve the root of the current problem," Minamoto Heart gave a vague reply.

"I have a request..." White Rosa paused and continued, "Can we save my friend?"

Minamoto Heart remained silent. White Rosa continued anxiously, "The high school section isn't far from here, and we can get there quickly. Her name is Ringo, she's in Class 1A. And there's someone who split up with me earlier, can we..."

"I don't have the time for that," Minamoto Heart replied calmly. Based on his judgment, the temporal barrier was about to disappear soon, and he had to eliminate the rampaging dragon before that happened. When Minamoto Heart reached the courtyard, a sword suddenly smashed through the glass and fell from upstairs. Minamoto Heart dodged it in time and looked up in the direction where the sword fell. His brows furrowed, and he muttered to himself, "That's the place."

Since Minamoto Heart retreated with White Rosa earlier, he had been getting closer to the area with the densest demonic energy, and now he had finally reached his destination. Shortly after, there was an explosion in the classroom where the sword fell from upstairs. The Barrier of Time could only protect people in the present world, not physical objects. The classroom exploded, and countless shards of glass came raining down from the sky. If the anomalies were not cleared soon, the monsters would cause even more damage to the structures in the present world. In a worst-case scenario, when the Barrier of Time disappeared, it could pose a great threat to human lives.

Minamoto Heart decided to immediately head towards the classroom. However, at the same time, White Rosa on his shoulder became restless. Since she hadn't received a response from Minamoto Heart for a while, she struggled and jumped off his shoulder, determined to find Lin Guo alone.

"She's such a troublesome child," Minamoto Heart muttered as he watched White Rosa limping away in the distance. He gritted his teeth and decided not to bother with her. He needed to eliminate the demonic dragon as soon as possible and clear the anomalies to save more people. If something unexpected happened to White Rosa on the way, it would just be a small sacrifice.

After silently sending his blessings to White Rosa in his heart, Minamoto Heart swiftly ran towards the upper floor.
