Chapter 15:Magic Sword Splitting Cloud (Part 2)

"Alright, I'll do my best. After all, I'm also half an expert in studying this." With that, I looked around.

In the world of Magic Arrays, the array diagram is the guiding line for Magic Power, also known as the Magic Circuit. The strength and attribute differences of Magic Power play a crucial role in the effect of the Magic Array. How to use and utilize this Magic Power depends on the design and tightness of the array diagram. The higher the level of the Magic Array, the more complex it is.

The Magic Arrays are divided into three orders: Heaven, Earth, and Man. The Heaven Order is the highest, divided into two levels: God and Saint. Then comes the Earth Order, divided into three levels: Diamond, Gold, and Silver. Lastly, the Man Order is also divided into three levels: High, Medium, and Low.

There are generally two methods to break a Magic Array:

1. Break the array forcefully with a powerful force.

2. Destroy the internal structure of the Magic Array.

Obviously, I don't possess a powerful force, and although Hanya is strong, it's still not enough. Maybe with the Guild Leader's help, it could be barely done. So, I have to choose to destroy the internal structure of the array, and the quickest way is to cut off the thinnest segment of the real diagram, blocking the Magic Circuit. However, these lines are usually hidden in the most secretive places, and the higher the level of the Magic Array, the fewer they are.

But now, the issue is not where the lines are, but how to make the array diagram appear. The primary condition for invading the array diagram is to intrude with one's own Magic Power without triggering the Magic Array. However, the biggest advantage of trap Magic Arrays is their concealment, hiding the form of the array diagram and the magic aura of the array. That's why Hanya didn't notice it initially.

There's also another problem. The effective range of a Gold or higher-level Magic Array in the Earth Order extends beyond the surface of the array diagram. If it's not present here, then how to reach the array diagram is also a problem. But thinking too much about it is pointless because time is very limited.

While I was observing and thinking, I kept an eye on Hanya...

The members of the Azure Sky Student Union, in a semi-encircling formation, surrounded Hanya and me. Their momentum was magnificent, and even without meeting their gaze, I could feel their fighting spirit. They were a group of bloodthirsty warriors.

Three figures flew past, they were Magic Swordsmen. The two on the sides wielded broadswords, while the one in the middle held a blue light short sword.

The two broadswords horizontally slashed at Hanya's snowy white neck, while the blue light short sword instantly reached behind Hanya. The Magic Swordsman on the slimmer side, combined with the short sword, resembled an assassin.

The blue light short sword flashed, directly aiming at Hanya's waist, and at the same time, a dark green light gathered around Hanya. The three sword lights disappeared like smoke, and Hanya took a small step back, raising his left hand. In his tightly clenched palm, there was a sword emitting green light particles. From the hilt to the scabbard, it had a pale green color and a slim and elegant shape. Brilliant shattered clouds appeared on the scabbard.

This sword - Splitting Cloud. A magic tool of level ten, the Magic Sword.

The Magic Sword Splitting Cloud, named after the shattered clouds on the scabbard, is a rare magic sword with special abilities. Its special ability - Heavenly Split, is said to be able to shatter and crack all tangible matter, with the prerequisite being sufficient Wind Magic Power support.

When Splitting Cloud appeared horizontally in front of Hanya, to my surprise, I noticed that there was a dark green dragon head at the end of the sword's hilt. The dragon's body extended from the dragon's head to the end of the scabbard. A lifelike green dragon was hidden behind the shattered clouds.

I have seen Splitting Cloud before. In last year's inter-school competition, Splitting Cloud was magnified on the big screen, and the structure and patterns of the entire magic sword were very clear.

However, back then, there were only clouds and no dragon.

As soon as Splitting Cloud appeared, an enemy Magic Swordsman wielding a heavy sword and two Magic Spear Masters walked out immediately. The others were preparing for action.

"Pap, pap, pap, pap, pap..." Continuous gunshots rang out, accompanied by the sound of wind as the Magic bullets shot out. Ordinary Magic Spear Masters simulated Magic bullets with their Magic Power; real bullets were only used for fatal blows.

Hanya quickly drew his right hand, and as the sword left the scabbard, I faintly heard a gentle dragon's roar. The silver-white blade of Splitting Cloud depicted the exact same dragon figure as on the scabbard. The movements and the shape of the scales were also the same, except for the shattered clouds. The entire green dragon appeared magnificently, as if leaping through the clouds."The Sword of the Wind Soul: Fallen Leaves"

The razor-sharp wind blades tore wildly in all directions from Hanya's feet, causing everyone to instinctively raise their magical barriers. The continuous sound of slicing accompanied by screams filled the air, as lower-level opponents were instantly killed and fell to the ground. Hanya's mastery of swordsmanship was evident, as she flawlessly incapacitated her enemies without causing any deaths. It was clear that she pursued not only flashy and destructive power, but also had a deep understanding of the art of swordplay.

Damn it, why am I being distracted? Since Hanya has already fulfilled her promise and created time, I must complete my mission.

The hidden nature of the trap magic formation stemmed from a separate, minimal magic formation within the overall formation, known as the formation within the formation. Its biggest weakness was that it couldn't hide its own vulnerability, but its advantage was its insignificance, making it inconspicuous.

Based on my understanding of trap magic formations, I would try every possible option.

After looking around, I finally picked up a small stone, lowered myself near the sycamore tree in the southeast, and infused my meager magic power into the stone. Then, I aimed, exerted force, threw it, and hit the bullseye.

When the stone struck its target, a small distortion appeared in space, like ripples on a calm lake. Gradually, a small dark magic formation appeared, with a deep crimson mark left by the stone infused with magic power.

My estimation was correct. It seemed the person who set up the formation did not deliberately change the design orientation of the hidden magic formation. It used the most traditional and ordinary design. But why? The opponent was definitely not a beginner, so what was their ultimate goal?

As the hidden magic formation disappeared, its power ceased, and a cold black magic formation suddenly appeared. Then, the answer revealed itself as identical magic formations materialized all around, extending beyond what the eyes could see.

"What kind of lunatic created this? It's basically a magic bomb." I smashed my fist into the ground, venting my frustration.

The combination of magic formations before my eyes was a dangerous formation known as the linked type. This type of formation was even more difficult to dismantle than any single magic formation because each magic formation had its own circulating magical system. When these magic formations were connected, their collective power increased exponentially. However, the most troublesome part was the weak thread connecting one formation to another. To sever the circuit, none of the formations could be triggered, otherwise it would result in a high-energy magic bomb.

But Hanya's efforts would be in vain if I didn't try my luck. However, luck seemed to be particularly bad today. Encountering a linked magic formation was already rare, yet here I was facing one. The person who created this must be either a genius or a madman, as there is often just a thin line separating the two.

I gently took out a piece of jade, a beautiful green carving shaped like bamboo that I had been wearing around my neck since birth. The jade had intricate patterns and was crystal clear, a flawless gemstone. Its quality was likely top-notch, but that didn't matter. What mattered was that it was the only item my mother left for me.

Holding the jade tightly, I silently said, "Mother, please bless me with good luck."

The battle behind me with Hanya was also reaching its end. Aside from the tall man wielding a heavy sword, the rest of the opponents had already fallen. Their defeat was expected, considering their strength and coordination. But Hanya was far from ordinary, so their defeat was inevitable.

At this moment, Hanya rushed forward and appeared directly in front of the young man. The light from the cracked clouds shone brightly, and the sword blade rushed through the air.

"Clang!" Sparks flew as the slender sword clashed fiercely against the wide and thick sword blade.

Then, in an unbelievable turn of events, cracks appeared at the point of impact between the heavy sword and the cracked clouds, and with a powerful push from Hanya, the entire heavy sword shattered. This was the unique technique of the cracked clouds called "Heaven's Fissure."

For a sword master, a broken sword meant certain death, and the tall man was defeated.

As I finished praying to the goddess of luck, I prepared myself to take a leap of faith.

Suddenly, the sky shimmered with a fiery red rose, captivating and breathtaking.

"Is it time already? I really want to curse the damn designer." My fist once again kissed the ground, this time drawing blood. Amidst the venting of my frustrations, there was also a hint of jealousy towards this extraordinary individual."Can't it be removed?"

"I can't say no, but I can say it's very dangerous. It's a great challenge for the dismantler's courage, skills, and luck. Honestly, I don't know about luck, but my courage alone is insufficient. My hands are trembling incessantly. It's the first time in all these years that I feel so lacking in confidence."

"Well, then let's go. Maybe the leader will have a solution."

"Yes, if you and the leader join forces, you should be able to forcefully break through!" Looking at the endless connected Magic array, he sighed, "These are not Earth Level. Even if they explode, with the leader's defense, there should be no problem."

"Let's go, fool. The leader has already lured those annoying flies away from their nest. It's our time now." With a sharp gaze, Hanya seemed to have entered a real combat state.
