"Since Betty said she used a warblade before, let me test your skills first!"
On the spacious college playground, Ophelia stood under the sunlight with a practice rapier in her hand. The faint light shone on her chestnut-colored hair, giving it a thin layer of golden glow.
Bexia placed Crystalia aside, floating in mid-air, observing the scene just like Long Momo. It was a weapon with a life of its own and its own consciousness.
"I don't know if I can handle it, so be careful, Ophelia!" Bexia picked up a wooden warblade, clumsily gripping it in his hand, not even sure of the proper starting posture.
"Then you better watch out."
Ophelia smiled and drew the wooden sword from her waist sheath, placed it on her left chest, and performed a customary salute. Bexia imitated her actions.
"Be careful!"
Ophelia reminded as she charged towards Bexia, and in the blink of an eye, the wooden sword appeared in front of him before he could react.
Although his mind couldn't keep up, his body moved instinctively. He raised the warblade and blocked the rapier, causing a clashing sound of wood-on-wood.
"Shattered Judgment!"
After blocking the rapier, Bexia's instincts continued to guide him. He tightly held the warblade and struck out a half-circle in front of him.
"Clang!"
The rapier was slightly bent under the pressure. This was Bexia's all-out attack, but his strength was limited and nowhere near Ophelia's.
However, this surprised Ophelia, but she quickly regained her composure. She turned her body, and the rapier struck Bexia's shoulder from another angle, causing the warblade in his hand to fall to the ground, signifying the end of the match.
"I lost!"
Bexia picked up the warblade from the ground and smiled at Ophelia. Even though he lost, he didn't feel any psychological pressure. In his eyes, winning this match was impossible anyway.
"How did you dodge my attack just now?"
"I don't know either. After seeing Ophelia's rapier, I thought I couldn't dodge it, but my hands couldn't help but move on their own. I couldn't even control myself!" Bexia replied honestly.
"I see..." Ophelia fell silent for a moment, not sure what to say. Dodging her attack based on instinctive reactions was something she had never heard of before.
"This proves that Bexia is very talented. Ophelia, don't waste his talent. Let me have him. I also know how to use a warblade, so I can teach Bexia!" Long Momo chimed in.
"Go to hell! You don't even specialize in warblades. Who are you trying to fool?" Ophelia would never hand over Bexia to Long Momo, for sure.
"Well, then you can't teach him either. It would be a waste of Bexia's talent!" Long Momo smirked. A sentient magical armor, this was probably the ultimate weapon everyone dreamed of.
As for what Bexia said about teaching, the two of them weren't surprised. It was common for some weapons and equipment to have inheritable skills. Some powerful individuals didn't want their ultimate skills to be lost after their deaths, so they sealed them into their weapons or equipment using special methods. As long as certain conditions were met, the inheritable skills could be obtained.
"Then Bexia is also my 'Junior Life'!" Ophelia said without mercy, which made Long Momo not-so-pleased and pounced at her. The two good friends started playing around again.
Life became monotonous and peaceful after that. Ophelia woke Bexia up every morning to exercise his body, trained with her in combat practice in the morning, and practiced the "Guildhart Style Warblade Technique" she learned from Laxus in the afternoon. It was said that this technique was created by a certain elf king named Guildhart and included three skills: the assault technique "Lightblade Flash," the area technique "Warblade Dance," and the destructive magic technique "Falling Inferno Strike."According to the information passed on by Lacus, Gehrhardt, the Elf King, is the strongest combat genius among the Elf race. He is proficient in using dozens of weapons in battle and single-handedly saved the Elf race from crisis. He was also Lacus' previous master.
Skills are divided into three categories: combat skills focusing on physical strength, magic skills focusing on magical elements, and magic combat skills combining both. Among combat skills, sword skills stand out and are known as "sword techniques" because of their wide usage and numerous variations!
During the night, Bexia practiced his magic power. After nearly half a month had passed, he once again heard Lady Cloud's voice. Although he couldn't see this woman who claimed to be his sister, he could still feel her profound care and affection in their communication. Even though he had forgotten who she was, he believed in her.
"It's such a pity that you can't see Betty. It's been a long time since you slept with your sister. Do you miss the smell of your sister?" Lady Cloud's voice carried a mischievous tone.
"Lady Cloud, please stop making such jokes. It makes me feel distressed ≥﹏≤!"
"Is that so? But what sister said is true~!"
"Are you sure you still remember the smell of your sister? Isn't it very fragrant? When you come back, you can do whatever you want in sister's embrace, even if you want to do some outrageous things~"
"Please... Please don't say such inappropriate things!" Thinking back to his previous actions, Bexia's face turned red. But how could he possibly do such things? She said she was his sister. He had to refuse. He didn't want to do anything out of line.
"You must think that way deep down, you just feel embarrassed to express it. But if a girl like me were to do such things, I would also feel distressed."
"So, in order to make sister feel more at ease, it's better for Betty to take the initiative!"
Lady Cloud's words made Bexia uncomfortable with their explicitness. He remained silent for a long time before responding.
"Please spare me, sister."
But Lady Cloud didn't consider this as going too far. With a mischievous taste, she spoke again:
"Doesn't Little White have any thoughts about sister? Am I not pretty enough?"
"Wh-!" Bexia was completely defeated by Lady Cloud's words. She hit right on his inner thoughts. After the incident last time, he did have some unusual ideas in his mind. Although he no longer entertained them, he was an honest person and didn't know how to refute Lady Cloud's words.
This conversation ended once again with Bexia's silence. He lay on the bed, looking at the ceiling, thinking about what tomorrow, the day when Astman Royal Magic Academy officially starts, would be like.
