The morning sunlight was serene and enticing, warm and inviting to stay in bed. Bexia felt an itchy sensation in his nose, and he realized it must be Christine playing around. He gently opened the object that was causing discomfort.
"Hey! If you don't get up soon, I'll leave!" However, the voice that reached his ears was not Christine's, but Long Momo's. Bexia then recalled that he was not staying in the dormitory at the academy but in Long Momo's shrine.
"Sis Dragon, good morning!" Bexia immediately sat up, and at that moment, Long Momo was looking at him with a bright smile.
"How was your sleep last night?" Long Momo looked meaningfully at Bexia's lower half, and seeing that, he quickly lifted the blanket. Christine, wearing thin pajamas, was lying directly on his legs. As a normal male, Bexia awkwardly lifted her up.
"Christine, wake up!" Bexia shook the weapon girl, as if the appearance of the weapon girl depended on her owner.
"Good morning! Master, you made me feel so uncomfortable last night!" Christine said groggily.
"Don't say things that could be misunderstood like that. I didn't do anything!" Bexia immediately defended himself. It was Christine who transformed into a weapon last night, and she was probably being pressed by him. But the actual situation was far from the literal meaning.
However, Bexia's explanation lacked credibility, especially with Christine's current appearance. Her loose pajamas were half pulled open, revealing her shoulder and half of her chest. She looked incredibly seductive in her drowsy state, absolutely adorable!
"Seriously, stop talking to this blockhead." Long Momo looked at Bexia shaking his head in confusion, making him completely clueless about what she meant!
"Hurry up and pack. We're leaving soon."
"Okay! Right away!" Bexia quickly got up to pack his things. His first year of academy life had come to an end, and the next two months would be vacation time. He had promised Long Momo to accompany her back to the Ancestral Kingdom, and today was the day they would set off.
Bexia had managed to escape from Bor's place with much persuasion last night. That old man had originally arranged a research schedule for his vacation, and Bexia burned it on the spot. Although he was Bor's disciple, he wasn't a slave to be worked so hard! It felt even worse than being a plowing ox. At least, the ox could eat well and sleep soundly. But he was scheduled to research and study with Bor for fifteen to sixteen hours almost every day. Bexia didn't want his holiday to be so miserable! So, he left a note and came straight here to Long Momo.
"So quickly packed!" Long Momo sat at the low table eating breakfast brought by Carter and Zeya. Bexia had no idea how Carter managed to invite Zeya here, but their relationship might have progressed further than Bexia could have imagined.
"I packed everything that needed to be packed last night. It's all in here!" Bexia showed the two rings in his hand. One was The Converging Magic Ring, and the other was a spatial tool given to him by Bor. There were also a whole 100,000 gold coins inside!
Having a wealthy teacher was really good. Bexia wanted to bring gifts for Long Momo's parents, so he planned to borrow money from Bor. Surprisingly, without batting an eye, Bor gave him 15 gold coins and said he could ask for more if it wasn't enough. As for the repayment, there was no need to consider it. It was only natural for a disciple to spend his master's money.
"Evil rich people, always hurting poor people like me!" Carter looked at Bexia resentfully.
"Hahaha! Isn't there a saying, something like 'bread will come, milk will come'!" Bexia couldn't help but tease Carter. This guy had been around adventurers for too long, so he always had a rogue charm about him. But that was also what made Carter's personality so strong.
"Asshole, one day I will press you to the ground and beat you."
"I guess that day will never come!" Ze Ya said expressionlessly, removing Carter's platform, which instantly defeated him.
"How could you do this, Ze Ya? You should be on my side!"
"I'm just telling the truth!" Ze Ya glanced at him calmly.
"Alright! Now that everyone is here, let me explain the itinerary." Long Momo took out a map of the continent and spread it out on the table.
"Anzu is quite far from here, so we need to take a passenger ship from Hai'an City to Anzu. Therefore, our target is Mandara City, the largest coastal city in the Asman Kingdom, where there is a direct ship to Anzu." Long Momo pointed on the map.
"Mandara City is a great place! It is known as the Golden Coast City. With its coastal advantages and abundant marine resources, it is said that one-third of the wealth of the Asman Kingdom comes from there." Carter knew quite a lot, while Bexia knew less, only knowing that Mandara City was the coastal city of the Asman Kingdom.
"I originally planned to take an airship from Asman to Mandara City, but Bexia wants to visit the village where she used to live, so I changed the route temporarily. We will take a horse-drawn carriage and go there, do you guys have any objections?" Long Momo pointed to the route marked on the map and asked the others.
"It doesn't matter to me! We have two months' time, so it won't matter if we delay a few days!" Carter said indifferently. He had nothing to do during the whole vacation, so he didn't care at all.
"Um... I'm fine with it too. After all, I'm just here to have fun!" Ze Ya nodded as well.
"I'm sorry!" Bexia touched her head. It bothered him to delay a few days, but he still had to go back and see Sister Lux, who had taken care of him for a long time. Regardless of how he looked at it, he should go back and see her.
"Then it's settled." Long Momo set the route and looked at Bexia with a malicious smile. "Since that's the case, Betty, shouldn't you show some appreciation?"
"Huh? How should I show it?"
"You will be reimbursing all the expenses for this journey, since you took a lot of money from Old Bor, anyway."
"Well... alright!" Bexia hesitated for a moment, but thinking about the fact that he had a huge sum of one hundred thousand gold coins, a little travel expense was not a problem for him. So he nodded and agreed.
