"I didn't mean it that way, forget it. All of you wait for me in my bedroom, I have something to attend to now!" Alan said, tossing a white scarf to Erika.

Understanding, Erika covered her face with the white scarf. Alan didn't want it to be exposed that the Saint Erika was his slave, otherwise it would gather a group of fanatical followers from the Holy Angel Church to condemn him.

Alan's situation was already bad enough, he didn't want to make it worse!

The process of leaving the castle could be described as both easy and complicated. Although none of the guards inside the castle dared to stop him, every one of them was looking at him with sharp eyes, not friendly at all.

As Alan walked out of the castle, a large group followed closely behind him. He glanced at Erika and gave her a signal to go, she nodded and began to retreat.

Then, Alan came face to face with Dennis who was rushing towards him. Feeling the girl's body temperature coming towards him, Alan was surprised, "Why are you here again? It's very dangerous to be this close to me now!"

When Alan left the castle, he already felt like everything had changed. The nobles who used to fawn over him were no longer cheering for him as they did when he first entered the city.

News of his biological father's death had spread throughout Castle Enchim. They all kept their distance from Alan, afraid to be associated with him, becoming a thorn in the eyes of those influential figures, and then being eliminated. Many of them even carried with them mocking expressions.

People love to kick a guy when he’s down. They finally waited for this young, rich man who could only be looked up to, to reach a dead end. As much as they used to envy him, now they reveled in his misery.

However, Dennis seemed not to care about all this. She looked at Alan and said, "Alan, it's dangerous for you to walk alone on the streets like this. What if you encounter those terrifying magicians? You will be in danger!"

Dealing with those followers was indeed quick for Golden-tier magicians. Before Dennis could finish her sentence, Erika had already returned behind Alan and said, "Master, it's taken care of!"

With just one glance, Dennis recognized the masked beauty in the revealing maid outfit as the previous saint who wore the holy clothes.

She was slightly surprised and said, "Hmm, so suitable to be a slave! So quickly, she's already wearing this kind of clothing!"

Erika's pretty face blushed as she lowered her head. Indeed, Dennis's words struck a chord of embarrassment in her weak heart.

As Alan walked on the street, he quickly attracted the attention of the people around him, whether it was Dennis or Erika, both were beautiful women. Especially Erika, her strict demeanor combined with the revealing maid outfit certainly caught the attention of the people around her.

Especially the slave mark carved on her soft chest, declaring her ownership, it attracted jealous gazes from some of the nobles towards Alan.

"What's he so proud of? The young, rich man who has reached a dead end will soon become a small noble just like us!"

"That's impossible! The Guild won't let him live, I bet they won't even give him a chance to beg, they'll just erase him!"

"Quick, look at his hand, it's The Mark of Abandonment! The strongest slave mark!"

"Having The Mark of Abandonment is useless, his slaves can never compare to the Iron Wolf Mercenary Group!"

In silence, Alan walked around the city with the two women.

Erika looked at Alan, thinking he was just a rich, clueless young man. Once he lost his power, he would become furious and want to fight back when he heard someone badmouthing him. And she would have to be his enforcer.

After all, although she couldn't confront the powerful Iron Wolf Mercenary Group or the strong mages from the Guild, it would be easy to teach these flies a lesson.

But Alan didn't. He just continued walking forward as if he hadn't heard anything, as if he knew in advance that things would turn out this way.Alan led them to a tunnel and left the city through it.

There were definitely stronger individuals following them, tails that Erika hadn't noticed.

However, despite not underestimating Alan, they still underestimated the foresight and cunning of the Philte family.

"Wow, look at that!" Dennis looked up at the tunnel in front of him. The entire tunnel was adorned with a type of red and black gemstone. These gemstones glimmered with a faint light, connecting to each other, and finally illuminated the tunnel with a red glow, like streetlights brightening up a dark alley.

"These stones are called Red Demon Stones. They are excellent at concealing and supporting tunnels! Several hundred years ago, the elders of the family foresaw that no family could prosper forever, so they secretly built this tunnel.

These red stones are not only expensive and sturdy enough to support the tunnel for thousands of years, but they also have the effect of concealing their presence. Even top-level mages would find it difficult to detect this tunnel. When the family faces extinction, the descendants can escape from here and dig up these gemstones to use as start-up capital."

"Master, should we dig up these gemstones?" Erika asked, puzzled.

Alan only put the largest one into his pocket. "I'm not running away, I'm fighting back. Once I leave this place, it will be the best retaliation. If those people find out that I am gone, they will definitely panic because they fear me!"
