Yuanhui's screams echoed through the entire sewer before he collapsed into the dark water.

Fresh blood flowed out of the hole in his chest where the bullet had pierced through, staining the black liquid with a faint dark color.

His body sank into the water, only to resurface stiffly on the surface.

In Sara's impression, Yuanhui's face had been erased, but the headache became even more intense...

"They've already seen it! Hmph... It seems that guy is dead, right? As expected, only she can kill that stubborn man." Lilith's voice sounded a bit excited.

"Is that so? But you don't seem very happy." Under her terrifying gaze, Chunjui Nine remained calm and even slightly mischievous as he smiled in response.

"By doing this, you'll kill yourself!"

"Isn't that good? You can understand it as him being summoned by the God-King, isn't that good?"

"Dare to insult the God-King, you... You... You'll go to hell!!! The beautiful paradise - Saint Veronica will not tolerate someone like you!"

"Aren't you too optimistic about me saving you guys?"

"How could a fake God-King like you understand! Besides, you don't have that qualification!"

"In this world, whether it's happiness or anything else, I understand. Because I also desire happiness, and from my perspective, you are the one who is mistaken. You treat your friends... and your beloved family in such a way, thinking that as long as they live on, it is happiness, but that is completely self-deception!!"

"No! How can a heartless ant like you understand what love is?!"

"Your true intention is probably revenge, right? Although you claim to seek the 'glory of God' on the surface, deep down, you used the power hidden in the Lonely Ridge to conduct terrible experiments on Leonard. Those human experiments were just means for your revenge, and once your revenge is successful, you would feel happy."

"Mind your words!"

"You always hated your own lack of ability, so you deluded yourself into thinking these so-called salvations were your goal, right?"

"I didn't delude myself! It has already been proven that the God-King has infinite possibilities... That's why! That's why we need the God-King's help!"

"Lilith, you really are like a child who refuses to grow up. That's why you've always been isolated and helpless." Chunjui Nine shrugged his shoulders.

Lilith stubbornly shook her head and said, "You don't understand at all! None of you understand my pain!!!"

...When she suddenly realized it, the sewer and all the darkness disappeared like a nightmare. Sara found herself lying in the secret room where she first received the phone call.

Is it another distortion of time and space?

She stood up and looked out of the window. Although the mist still lingered, it was considerably brighter now. The hospital had recovered from the abandoned otherworld.

"Now I can only go back to the planned meeting place... Hopefully, that self-proclaimed detective will be fine!"

Just as Sara stepped out of the room, she felt like she kicked something with her shoe. She picked up the object on the ground, which was a palm-sized black badge.

That death badge and the stamp on the other side of the passage of the door were almost identical, with little to no difference.

The predetermined meeting place was a local bar hotel, not far from here.

As Sara retraced her steps back from the hospital, she walked into the room and saw an unexpected guest waiting for her - Yuanhui, who was wearing a decent suit in contrast to the shabby and messy detective.

Sara's eyebrows furrowed slightly, and her heart trembled in shock.

"Yuanhui..."

"So you still remember me." Yuanhui, wearing glasses, smiled.

"How did you end up here?"

"Just a small matter."

Sara aimed her gun at the evasive Yuanhui. Although the latter's appearance did indeed have a certain intellectual charm, it seemed that Sara's teenage heart was not easily captured.

He was Lilith's partner, one of the objects she should have been wary of - definitely not someone who would die so easily.

"You always act so recklessly!" Yuanhui awkwardly smiled. "I came to tell Chunjui Nine about the God's Son, so they won't continue searching for it.""So..."

"I know, you saw me...killing me and everything."

"Are you watching me?"

"This world is all ours, nothing escapes my eyes."

"So you deliberately came to inform your clone, how thoughtful of you. What is your true purpose then..."

"I didn't lie."

"Alright, let's put that aside for now! Where is your clone?"

"Oh right, the detective left a message." Yuanhui smiled and changed the topic, seeming very cheerful. "He said he couldn't wait for you anymore, so he left the room. That's why I stayed to wait for you. Really, he's such an impatient person! It's easy to make mistakes when you're in a hurry, but he still couldn't wait and ran out..."

Sara gently shook the muzzle, interrupting the other's meaningless chatter.

Yuanhui shrugged and said, "He said 'Meet at Sanronica'."

"Just that one message?"

"Yes."

"What does it mean?"

"That's where Lilith is, on the northern shore of Sanronica Lake."

Upon hearing this, Sara reacted sharply.

"...So, you first told Detective Mister about this, and then pretended it was his message to me!"

Upon hearing Sara's rude words, Yuanhui only smiled slightly and did not answer.

"In this world, everything you see is likely an illusion. What you hear may also be a hallucination..."

"What is your intention?"

"Nothing...if you want to go to Sanronica, you just need to pass through this illusion. Now, probably only through there can you reach the Gate of the Holy Capital...There are too many troubles in this world, and there is simply no way to reach there through normal means. That's why humans haven't discovered that place."

"So what? Let me go to the Gate of the Holy Capital...is that your true purpose?"

"Huh? Well, anyway, you can trust me, I won't lie."

Trust? How can I possibly trust you!

Although Sara thought so in her heart, she didn't say it out loud. She just walked silently towards the door.

"Be careful!" Yuanhui said behind her, "Although this place is far from the real world, it is unexpectedly close to Heaven! Hahaha..."

After taking out spare ammunition from the luggage in the car, Sara left the bar. Since the shotgun had been thrown away in the fight against the malicious thoughts, the only weapon she could use now was the pistol.

Although she still had a tactical knife hanging from her waist, continuing forward, such equipment was unlikely to be of much help.

Close to Heaven?

When she said these words, Sara suddenly had a foreboding feeling, hoping that it was just groundless fear.

However, as she walked north along the main street of the city center, what appeared in front of Sara was undoubtedly a reenactment of the previous nightmare.

It was already dusk, and twilight was quickly descending. After dark, this place became a frantic hunting ground!

"I have to speed up!" Sara muttered to herself.

Although there were no dazzling light decorations, the arched gate gradually emerged from the dense fog, just like what she had seen in her dream when she was dozing off at the Hamburger Shop.

Fortunately, it was the same as in her dream. If it was even more terrifying than the nightmare...and if that dream was in sync with reality!

Suppressing the urge to turn back, Sara passed through a suddenly appearing gate in front of her-was it the exit?

Just as she crossed the open door, she felt an unusual presence. It was like breaking through a barrier and entering some forbidden place, along with a terrifying breath that carried a strong pressure towards her.

Whether it was due to the stimulus or not, Sara's body also seemed to be abnormal. She couldn't help but crouch down, the sudden stomachache causing cold sweat to break out on her forehead.

Something was stirring inside her body, like a parasite wriggling.

Now, that thing was becoming more active...

No! I can't let you continue according to your own will!Although it feels like a long time has passed, it has only been a short while since Sara's abdominal pain disappeared quickly. "Hoo--!" She wiped the sweat off her forehead and slowly stood up, still walking forward a bit unsteadily. Unconsciously, her footsteps started to quicken. She hated lingering around and if she couldn't avoid a troublesome matter, it was better to finish it quickly. "It's death..." Shortly after passing through the gate, she saw that thing on the plaza covered by the darkness of night. There was something familiar about it, as if she had seen it somewhere before... She felt that there was an element of dreadfulness within that thing. Just like the mysterious object in the telephone booth... she chose to ignore it and didn't even look at the restless undead monster. Part of the ground was in the shape of a magic circle, emitting a crisp "clack clack" sound as she walked on it. Furthermore, there was a lurking power in this place that seemed to want to dissolve her, yet Lilith's aura... Although this thing was very sinister, she still felt that Lilith was there! Sara checked her weapon again, then took a deep breath, allowing her tense nerves to relax. "Alright, let's go! Wait for me to take your life myself, Lilith!" Sara opened the door and a different complex emotion surged through her heart towards Lilith, whom she had been chasing. Meanwhile, on the other side... "My commission was to find that girl, and you did a great job. So, the job is done and the contract is successfully completed. As for the compensation, we will include you on the list... Hmm, is there anything else?" "Well, thank you for your offer, but unfortunately... I don't intend to hand her over to you!!!" "What... What do you mean?!" Lilith frowned in the face of the weapon in the detective's hand.
