In the far west of the Western World, there is a peaceful and prosperous border country.

This border country has fertile lands and its people are well-fed and well-clothed. It has a long and mysterious history, attracting countless people to come.

However, if outsiders want to reach this tranquil ideal land, they must drive across the desert, ride horses through the forest, and finally walk devoutly into its outskirts. Only then will the locals sincerely welcome them.

There is a year-round mild climate there.

There is a freshwater lake that fits the land like a gem.

There is fertile soil that does not lose its fertility due to long-term cultivation.

Cattle and horses are diligent, pigs and sheep are robust and fat. The happy and healthy people hardly need to work hard every day, yet they have endless food and clothing to enjoy.

Naturally, they do not engage in competition, nor do they experience any pressure.

It seems that even God, who thinks this country is not perfect enough, has bestowed it with magical blessings.

In autumn, with the magical autumn wind, the earth is swept away. Red pine needles, purple flowers and grasses, proudly cover the mountains.

Even the grass and tobacco are not willing to be outdone. The livestock and poultry refuse to be left behind. In the warm western wind, they grow beyond normal measures, bringing peace and joy to every citizen.

This country is called Acadia (Arcadia). Due to its remote location and inconvenient transportation, it has been given many additional names by foreigners, such as "the country of heaven," "the land of fragrant smoke," and "the abode of modern souls." However, the most eye-catching aspect is not these names.

Acadia is a magical capital and the city of the queen, where only women can use magic.

It is a country with backward political consciousness, low development concepts, and limited technological abilities. However, it has the highest happiness index in the world, a globally renowned tobacco industry, and mysterious and unpredictable magic. It is not surprising that many powerful countries secretly pay attention to and guard against it.

In 1939, when the world war broke out, a powerful empire on the attacking side aimed its invasion towards this western border.

The result, however, was unexpected. The empire's vanguard army disappeared in Acadia like a drop in the ocean.

Since then, the empire has been repeatedly defeated. Whenever they send special forces to investigate, those forces vanish. If they send reconnaissance aircraft to explore the terrain, those planes go missing. Over time, Acadia became enveloped in a protective layer of "mystery," and no country dared to meddle with it again.

But if merchants or travelers from afar come, the people of Acadia always treat them warmly and gently, just like the local climate.

For first-time visitors, after seeing the flourishing flowers and grass, tasting the delicious freshwater fish from the lake, and sitting with the locals at the stone table in front of their homes, taking a deep breath of the burning tobacco, all doubts about Acadia are instantly dispelled from their hearts.

They always speak with great enthusiasm:

"There is truly no better place in the world than this..."

But is there really such a perfect place?

Some experienced tobacco merchants don't believe this. They believe that flowers wither, the moon waxes and wanes, and even the most gentle and kind mother in the world has expectations for her children.

However, in the magical atmosphere of Acadia, the crops thrive without needing care, and livestock grow and mature quickly. Even tobacco, instead of damaging the lungs, actually prolongs life with its magical properties.

Acadia's tobacco is the epitome of perfection, with its fragrant smoke entering the nostrils; its harmful components are digested by magic, turning into soothing nourishment for the lungs.

It seems that this country has achieved perfection in every aspect, without any flaws.

Time has taken root in this ancient western country.

Life has grown into branches and leaves, and human sentiment has turned into fertile soil.

Magic and tobacco, like sunlight shining through the swaying tree shadows, illuminate this land, making the kingdom of Acadia shine brilliantly.

Our story begins with the birth of the rightful heir of the Altria family, the most brilliant family in Acadia.December 25, 1990, The Altria Family Residence, Erisburg

As dusk approached, Oedipus Altria finished his daily routine inspection work and was planning to end the day with his gold-inlaid wooden pipe, which he always carried with him.

In this gloomy season, the clouds trembled, partially obscured by the giant hand of the approaching night. The residual glow of the setting sun was just a hair's breadth away.

Although everything seemed as usual, there was also a sense of something lurking beneath the surface, slowly accumulating.

Oedipus leaned against the window frame of his office, silently lighting his pipe and taking small puffs. The smoke, light and milky white, quickly filled the room. Gradually, the smoke accumulated on one side of the room while dissipating into the sunshine on the other side, creating a dynamic picture.

As dusk arrived as expected, Oedipus exhaled the smoke in small, measured breaths. The faint light illuminated his peach-colored long hair, his dark and captivating eyes moved slowly, and his faint smile was enchanting. With arms as white as if they could freeze snow, Oedipus lazily held the pipe, exuding a sense of restrained depth and intelligence that was unique to her. This atmosphere, slowly spreading, made anyone who approached her feel as if they were immersed in the deep sea.

"Madam, the child has been born, and is very healthy. Come see for yourself." A woman dressed as a housekeeper, with short, messy hair and an impressive demeanor, knocked on the office door and spoke to Oedipus through it.

Yes, thanks to various needs, even pregnancy and childbirth have their own corresponding magic to relieve women of their burden. For Acadia, the women who study magic are not only rulers but also scientists who drive social progress. Men, on the other hand, are primarily responsible for tasks that require physical strength, such as harvesting tobacco and raising livestock.

The person by the window stubbed out their pipe and placed it back on their belt. They walked to the door, their smile becoming even more shallow, muttering to themselves, "I wish it's a boy..."

Oedipus opened the office door and nodded at the woman waiting outside.

The woman held a basket in one hand and placed the other hand on her chest, bowing respectfully as she approached Oedipus.

Without many words, Oedipus calmly followed the woman towards the delivery room, ready to unfold the beginning of this story...
