"Turing, Turing."

"Why are you still standing there?"

"Go down quickly. I promise I will tell you everything when you come up."

Turing opened her sleepy eyes and saw the blinding warm sunlight in the courtyard, along with Raphael and her father Pushkin standing among the gentle flowers and grass.

"..." Pushkin looked apologetic. He seemed to want to say something, but in the end, his communication with Turing ended with a smile.

Turing felt that she had come to accept, to some extent, that she would suddenly faint at some point and wake up at another point.

"Why... I just won Gabriel a moment ago... I clearly won."

For the first time in her life, Turing, who had almost never experienced defeat, felt that there seemed to be something in this world that was impossible to achieve no matter how hard she tried.

After being tormented by mysterious and strange incidents consecutively, a weary Turing now felt like a porter wrestling with a ship.

The constant hot waves kept hitting her, urging her to fall down and trying to sweep her into the depths of the beach.

The death of the woman hit her much harder than she had imagined, especially because she had the face of Oedipus.

"The real mother is still at home, isn't she?"

"She is much more gentle and loving than this impostor."

"How could I..."

Turing couldn't even fool herself with the lies she told.

Ignoring the surprise of the two, Turing sat down on the ground and leaned against a random stone, like many other girls her age, throwing a tantrum.

"I won't go."

"Unless you are willing to tell me everything clearly."

"I'll answer whatever I ask, don't fool around with me."

"Otherwise, Joseph, I don't want you to treat me anymore. Let's say goodbye."

At this moment, Turing's tense nerves could finally relax. A bitter feeling, as if she could accept any outcome, seemed to have firmly grabbed Turing's heart like a tempting serpent.

"Turing..." Raphael's hand trembled as she grabbed the basement door panel. She didn't expect Turing to suddenly react like this.

... Turing's reaction seemed as if she knew what was inside.

Raphael cried, clear tears filled her eyes, and big drops fell on the damp soil. Turing was taken aback by this sudden reaction.

If one didn't know, they would think it was Raphael who had just been hit by Bacardi.

"You..." Turing was a bit confused. She was already unsure of what to do, and now Turing was even more confused.

Raphael cried intensely. Her petite body trembled incessantly, and weak sobs filled the space among the three. Anyone with a little conscience would feel heartache in this situation.

Raphael slowly walked over to Turing and picked up her shawl to wipe away the tears and snot from her face, not very elegantly.

As if tripped by something, Raphael knelt in front of Turing.

Turing would rather believe that she was tripped by something.

"All of this... all of this was originally... originally something that had nothing to do with you and me, Turing!" Raphael's voice sounded distorted because of her crying.

"We are all born with privileged lives, but have been denied the freedom to choose - whether we agree or not."

"I wish, I wish to be like a normal child from an ordinary family, taking care of my clumsy sister, going to school with you and the children from the Agio family, living a normal life without worrying about the impending doomsday."

"But I can't, I'm not as powerful as you..."

"I'm not as powerful as you, Turing!" Raphael grabbed Turing's shoulders with both hands, his forehead touching Turing's shoulders.

"Could you... just consider pitying me, pitying me for bearing the God's unjust hate in your place?"

"Go down for me, okay?"

"Doesn't kindness count even at a time like this?"

Turing had never seen Raphael like this before. Amidst the heartache, Turing couldn't help feeling a little scared.

【If they don't want me to know the truth to this extent, what terrifying secret must be hidden here?】

【Moreover, if they want an outsider to eliminate an angel, does it mean this angel is even stronger than Gabriel?】

Turing's gaze shifted from Raphael to Pushkin, only to find him still keeping his eyes lowered, unwilling to say anything.

"No." Turing didn't hesitate and pushed Raphael away.

"If you don't want to talk about it, then forget it."

Raphael seemed taken aback that Turing lacked any semblance of mercy. All of a sudden, he froze.

"I sympathize with you, and I understand that you may be going through unimaginable pain..."

"But no, there's no room for compromise."

"I didn't reach this point just for myself... but also for Merka far away in Elysees, for Joseph, and for many unfortunate people caught in the crossfire of family hatred."

"So, I'm sorry. It's not that your tears aren't moving enough, I simply can't do it."

"If your tears aren't just an act, you should also be able to understand how I feel, right?" Turing patted Raphael's head with a numb expression, then stood up and moved towards Pushkin.

Turing spoke softly, "Will you honor your previous promise?"

"Of course." Pushkin's smile seemed slightly bleak.

"But please sit in the courtyard for a while, I'll take care of the little girl first."

"Please wait a moment, I will give my all to answer your questions."
