This group of onlookers and the two members of the Kyudo Club, most of the females were gathered around LinGu, and the males were mostly around Wu Yaoyao. Wu Yaoyao had a strong affinity, and she was basically smiling and taking pictures with everyone regardless of gender. After all, she was almost unanimously elected as Miss Peony. Her smile revealing her tiger teeth was really adorable.

LinGu was the same, always wearing a confident smile on his face, exuding an aura from inside out. He was very polite to every girl who came to take photos with him. Sometimes, even when the girls asked for his contact information, he generously gave it out. I carefully observed that LinGu's actions were always polite, and he never crossed the line with any of the girls around him. All his movements were so gentlemanly that it made me, a fellow male, feel a little ashamed.

If I had this aura, maybe I could perfectly handle Wu Yaoyao's matters and no longer be bullied by the annoying woman, Tang Xin.

But seeing LinGu so popular and well-mannered, it was really hard to connect him with the two words "pervert."

"Did the club president forget to sign?"

A member of the Kyudo Club approached me where I was sitting. He probably saw the form in my hand, full of records, missing a signature.

This male student was the one who opened the door for me when I came to the Kyudo Club. He had the typical common face but greeted me every time I came to the Kyudo Club. His presence was so low that I even forgot his name. Let's just call him Little A.

"Yep." Hearing Little A's words, I smiled bitterly and nodded my head.

It wasn't that I had forgotten to sign. She deliberately didn't sign.

"Well, the president is busy now." Little A glanced at Wu Yaoyao, who was surrounded by people in the distance, nodded, and showed understanding. "You may have to wait for a while."

"Are you heading home?" I looked at Little A, who had changed his clothes and already had his school bag on his back, and asked.

"Yep." Little A looked at the people taking pictures and spoke indifferently.

After all, Wu Yaoyao could be seen in the club every day, and there was no need for a guy to take a photo with LinGu. So, besides a few girls, the rest of the Peony High School Kyudo Club members began to pack up the venue.

"What do you think of that LinGu?" I thought for a moment and asked Little A.

"LinGu? Vice-Chairman, are you interested in him?" Little A's face showed a sly expression.

"I'm not interested in the way you think," I glanced at him and gave him a bored look. "Just tell me what you know about him."

Intuition told me that there was something wrong with LinGu, but I couldn't pinpoint what it was.

"I wouldn't say I know much about him, but I've heard about him. Actually, there isn't much to say..." Little A seemed to be pondering.

"Isn't much to say? Do you mean he's very ordinary?"

"No, quite the opposite. LinGu is a very impressive person. His academic performance has been the best in the city's No. 2 Middle School for years, and his archery skills firmly hold the second place in the youth archery competition. Besides that, he often wins various competition awards, sports awards... It seems this person has no shortcomings."

"In City No. 2 Middle School, LinGu should be an idol-like figure."

As Little A spoke, his face couldn't help but show admiration.

Little A's words left me deep in thought. Although academic performance and character are not directly related and one's appearance can't reveal a person's character, LinGu's meticulous appearance and his extremely polite actions showed that he should be very concerned about his external image. There was no reason to commit such a disgraceful act as molesting a girl, but Wu Yaoyao would never lie...

"I'm exhausted..." I didn't know when Wu Yaoyao escaped from the group of people and came to sit beside me, leaning her head weakly on my shoulder. The soft body and the fragrant scent of a young girl interrupted my thoughts.

What a luxurious fatigue.

"Why are you leaning so close?" I turned my head to look at her and pushed her bun-shaped hair away. But after pushing it away once, it would fall back again. Seeing her tired appearance, I stopped moving."Let me lean on you for a bit, no one will see..." Wu Yaoyao leaned on my shoulder, making a dreamy mumble.

Watching her act spoiled, I felt a bit helpless. Then I remembered the form, so I waved it in front of Wu Yaoyao, who was resting on my shoulder. "Can you sign it now?"

"No."

"Why?"

"In your dreams. I haven't left yet, and you're not allowed to leave either. I came to ask you to help me organize things."

Looking at Wu Yaoyao's exhausted tone yet smug expression, I felt somewhat dispirited. "Isn't Xiao A here? Just ask Xiao A to organize."

"Xiao A... who?" Wu Yaoyao looked at me with some confusion.

"Isn't it—" I just wanted to point at Xiao A, who was just by my side, but now I had no idea where he was.

Sigh... Xiao A, your presence is so low that I didn't even notice when you left.

"Oh, well. Same as always?" I helplessly pushed her head away and stood up from the corner.

"Mmm... after finishing organizing, I can sign it?" Wu Yaoyao, smiling adorably with her eyes half-closed, looked up at me and nodded.

What kind of motivation is this...?

As usual, the heavier items, such like tables, chairs, and notice boards, were moved to the equipment room outside by other members of the Kyudo Club. Lighter items, like cushions and cups, were organized by me and Wu Yaoyao inside the Kyudo Club's storeroom.

However, it seemed that Wu Yaoyao was really exhausted today. She usually never leaves my side when organizing things...

Put the cushions here... the blankets there...

Standing in the storeroom, I held the items to be organized in my hands while recalling where they originally belonged in my mind. But it was a bit dark inside the storeroom, so I put down the items and prepared to turn on the light.

"Is it just going to end like this?" A girl's voice with a hint of impatience came from not far away from the storeroom door. The voice wasn't loud, but anyone could hear the resentment in it.

The storeroom wasn't far from the club entrance, so it wasn't strange to hear people's conversations.

I didn't pay attention to it and continued to fumble for the light switch in the dark.

"It's okay, after all, it's not her fault." Following the previous sentence, a male voice sounded.

I paused and stopped searching for the switch.

It was Lin Gu's voice.
