After scrutinizing the revolver in his hand for about ten seconds, Tende threw it towards the mysterious figure. He had no interest in taking things that didn't belong to him; borrowed items should be returned. Besides, the gun was poorly maintained and didn't feel great in his hand.

"There are still bullets," the person said.

"..." Tende glanced at the mysterious person and threw the bag of bullets over.

Could this guy think that Tende would steal his bullets? Come on, Tende had just remembered his own name, for goodness sake.

"I think you should explain the situation to me," Tende looked around the messy detention center and said to the mysterious person.

After a few seconds of silence, the person finally spoke, "You don't need to know too much, once you wake up, you will forget everything."

"..." Tende furrowed his brows slightly.

Tende really hated riddle people.

Did that mean the person was going to erase his memories while he slept? Or was his memory already being erased?

Although the person was being mysterious, Tende still tried to understand what he meant. Unfortunately, the mysterious person left without giving him a chance to comprehend his words, taking advantage of the darkness.

Tende stepped outside and found that the street was empty. There was no normal lighting, which didn't make sense.

Sighing, Tende obediently returned to his room. He had no idea what had happened.

So he lay on the uncomfortable bed made of straw mat, boredly looking at the exploded light.

Tende really wanted to try not sleeping for a night, to see if his memories of tonight would be erased or what would happen.

But after a big yawn, he decided to give up.

Feeling tired, it's time to sleep, but unfortunately, there were no blankets.

Gradually, his consciousness became blurry, and he fell into a deep sleep on the uncomfortable bed.

However, it seemed that he didn't sleep for long enough.

Tende opened his eyes and felt that something was wrong.

Because at this moment, he was lying on the surface of a lake, literally "lying" on the surface of the lake.

Below him was water, and the touch and temperature all told him that it was undoubtedly water.

But why could he lie on it?

Tende climbed up and as he expected, his feet stood smoothly on the surface of the water.

Mist filled his sight, a thick layer that couldn't be seen through at all.

Even things within fifty meters in front of Tende were probably impossible to see clearly.

Tende lowered his head and saw his reflection on the water's surface.

He also noticed two round moons reflected in the water.

One moon was pure white, and the other was pale blue.

Tende didn't think there was a big problem. According to his memory, having two moons was normal.

It wasn't an ominous sign; it was just a natural scenery.

Instinctively, Tende raised his head to take a closer look at the two round moons in the reflection.

As he looked, saliva dripped from his mouth because he didn't close it.

Tende quickly wiped it.

But soon his movements froze.

The moon above his head was pure white.

But, there was only one moon.

"One moon?" Tende questioned himself.

Unfortunately, he didn't feel that having a single moon was wrong.

It seemed like in this world, having either one or two moons was normal.

Moreover, a single moon felt more familiar and intimate.

As Tende was planning to explore in the mist, a person wearing a thick coat and a triangular hat emerged from the fog.

When I say "him," it's not that Tende couldn't determine the person's gender.

The person held a lamp in their hand, and their coat was so thick that their gender couldn't be discerned.

The coat zipper was pulled up, and the collar stood up and covered their face.

"Poor soul, quickly forget everything," the person said in a ethereal voice.

"What you see and hear will only become fleeting dreams.""Marasia will push you back into the early morning when you are deeply trapped in the night."

"You will break free from the pollution of crazy fantasies."

Simple words piled up in the mist, making people feel dizzy and unstable, as if they might collapse in the next second.

Tende also felt this way, but not to the extent of actually falling down.

"What then?" Tende shook his head and looked at the person holding the lamp with confusion.

He was straightforward and wanted to know what would happen next.

Dizzy, but not fainted.

"..." The person holding the lamp was obviously stunned, Tende's reaction was beyond his expectations.

Generally speaking, the people he met would faint here and then wake up in reality, eventually forgetting the misfortune of last night.

"You are different." After a while, the person finally squeezed out such a sentence.

He didn't know how to speak, and the lines were not well-prepared.

"And in your perception, there is only one moon." There was a slight change in the tone of the other party, "Why is that?"

Obviously, the guy with the lamp had never seen a situation where the moon above and below were completely different before.

Using his free hand, the person lifted his hat, wanting to seriously observe Tende.

At this moment, Tende noticed the other person's eyes, which were deep blue, like exquisite gemstones.

"I don't know, feels like there's no difference between one and two rounds."

"Any problem?" Tende remained expressionless, even a bit dull.

"Um...no problem." The other party couldn't tell if Tende was lying or not, and didn't know how to deal with him.

"Are you with that mysterious person at night?" Tende seized the opportunity and started asking.

He didn't ask many questions at once, but planned to start with the simplest ones.

"With that person?"

"Strictly speaking, yes, although I don't like this way of saying it."

"And I know you have many questions to ask me," the other person said.

Tende pinched his chin, his beard scratching his hand, wanting to shave it off.

"Please be patient, since you can be so clear-minded here..."

"You will probably meet us later."

"I believe that all your questions will be answered then." After saying these words, the person took a few steps back.

After these few steps, the mist seemed to come alive and completely swallowed his figure.

Tende did not make any moves to chase after him, but began to contemplate.

Why did the people he met always enjoy being enigmatic? Can't they just speak more straightforwardly?

Or, can't they use a less rigid tone? It's not down-to-earth at all.

In the end, Tende had one question that troubled him. He wanted to know if he could finally get a good night's sleep.

He was really getting tired.
