"Don't think about it."

Aya showed no hint of remorse, instead shrugging and saying, "Those two guys left me after my 150th birthday, and I haven't seen them since. I have no idea where they went off to for all these decades."

"Do they not leave you with any tools? Like something that can teleport them to you when they encounter unbeatable enemies?" Tiran refused to give up, still staring at Aya.

"You might be underestimating their irresponsibility... I think in this regard, they might even surpass you." Aya's expression became pained as she recalled the tone of the letter those two disrespectful guys left when they disappeared.

"...My condolences." Tiran thought about his own father, who always managed to get himself into trouble, and patted Aya's shoulder with a heavy heart.

In the distance, two ancient giants finished their confrontation and roared at each other as they collided with a thunderous boom.

The battle between these two monsters, each over a hundred meters tall, was terrifying. The massive soundwaves made the dense forest in front of Aya and Tiran tremble, startling flocks of birds into flight. Many wild beasts ran out of the forest, trying to escape the center of the battle between the two dominators. Among the rushing horde were some strange creatures, appearing to be magical beasts and the like.

If they were allowed to charge over, the camp would be in danger. So Aya carefully released an intimidating aura, scaring away the approaching creatures, while trying her best not to disturb the two dominators who were engrossed in their fight.

"They're really ferocious. Although they haven't reached the Holy Rank, their pure fighting power should easily crush a group of level nine opponents." Tiran estimated the strength of the two monsters as he watched the spectacle. He realized that below the Holy Rank, these creatures were like bugs.

Tiran's one sword strike that killed the Mountain Giant was infused with the power of the laws; otherwise, relying only on his level nine Chi would have been more challenging. Without the use of the laws, the odds of defeating either of the two dominators individually would not exceed thirty percent.

No wonder even the Elf King said he tried to avoid provoking some of the monsters here. Well, indeed, it's better not to get involved in this kind of fight.

The battle between dominators was not accompanied by dazzling magic or Chi. It was rather simple and brutal. The two mountain lords, with their huge fists like hammers, caused mountains to collapse and the earth to split. Even the Mist Tree Spirit's body, resembling a misty tree, had cracks after being hit by one of those fists.

But overall, the advantage was with the Tree Spirit. Despite having a humanoid form, it had numerous tough and thick vines that gave it a significant advantage in one-on-one combat.

Regardless of how powerful the Mountain Lord's fists were, without sharp blades, it was difficult to break those vines with just punches. Coupled with the fact that two fists were no match for four hands, the Mountain Lord's arms were soon tightly restrained by the vines, and no matter how much the huge stone creature roared, it couldn't break free.

A victorious smile appeared on the face of the Mist Tree Spirit, which had a hideous, hollowed-out face on its trunk. Its two giant branch arms reached out towards the Mountain Lord, whose arms were now immobilized, and numerous newly-grown roots sprouted from its arms, violently burrowing and anchoring into the rocky body of the Mountain Lord.

"Haha, the Mountain Lord is going to kneel." Aya, who somehow obtained a piece of meat, quickly brushed it with oil and ignited the charcoal under the grill with a spark from her fingertips, slowly turning it.

"Well... judging from the situation, the Mist Tree Spirit is planning to root itself in the Mountain Lord, directly using its roots to destroy the core inside the Mountain Lord's body. It's indeed a disadvantage for such a giant to deal with this kind of creature that relies primarily on immense strength." Tiran held a glass of juice, pointed with the straw, and made suggestions to Aya, who was grilling meat. "Hey, don't just grill it like that. It would taste even better with some cumin and white sesame sprinkled on top... Oh, and didn't you buy honey? You can try brushing some on..."

If the two dominators, who were still fighting for their lives, knew that their battle was being barbecued and watched by two unexpected onlooking spectators, they might consider making peace and taking care of the intruders first.

Of course, they definitely wouldn't notice what was happening here.

The Mountain Lord also realized what its opponent was trying to do and began to struggle furiously.

In terms of raw strength alone, even three Mist Tree Spirits combined were not a match for the Mountain Lord. Furthermore, the Mist Tree Spirits' bodies and weight were nothing compared to the Stone Man's body, which was completely constructed from huge rocks. As a result, the next move by the Mountain Lord had an unexpected effect.

"Oh my god! What the hell! It's the Blade Storm again!"

As the lord of the mountains, it possessed unimaginable power, but that was all it had. So its next move was simple - to spin.

For enemies that it couldn't shake off, this move was simple yet effective, just like when the mountain giant dealt with Robert's mercenaries back then.

The difference was that this time the lord of the mountains was shaking off a giant treant of the same height. It spun like a top, catching the treant off guard. By the time the treant tried to free itself from the deep roots embedded in the lord of the mountains' body, it was too late.

Like an athlete's shot put, the hundred-meter tall body was lifted up, and with the lord of the mountains' rotation, the vines and roots wrapped around it began to break one by one, gradually getting larger and reaching their limits under the increasing centrifugal force. Finally, the entire giant treant was thrown out!

The scene was incredibly shocking, like a small mountain flying in the air. After the treant landed, it rolled for almost a kilometer. Countless centuries-old trees and rocks were lifted into the air and then fell, causing the entire forest to tremble.

"Thank goodness it didn't throw it towards us." Aya shrank her neck, staring at the treant trying to crawl up from the ground. If the lord of the mountains had thrown it towards them, their camp would have been destroyed.

After taking that hit, the treant that managed to climb up again was heavily injured. Most of its vines were broken, and one of its arms snapped during the rolling.

As for the lord of the mountains, which still stood proudly in the mountains, its whole body was covered in cracks and pierced by broken root tips. It was unclear how deep the treant's roots had penetrated, but judging by the dim light in its eyes, it didn't seem to be in a good state either.

After growling at each other a few times, the treant turned around and left in the distance. The lord of the mountains gave up the chase and slowly disappeared into the mountains.

"Huh? Why did they stop fighting?" Tiran looked up, intending to eat while watching the battle, but was disappointed to find that the fight had already ended and both sides had gone their separate ways.

"Because continuing the fight would have been a pyrrhic victory." Aya took a big bite of the delicious roasted meat, with a satisfied expression on her face. "There might be more than just these two supreme beings in this dimensional space. Even if we win, other supreme beings might take advantage... these guys have existed for thousands of years, and they value their own lives."

"Is there nothing else to watch?" Tiran sighed.

"Well, why don't you find another one and have a fight with it?" Aya pointed at the treant that was walking away in the distance. "It looks like these two are pretty injured, so if you're bored, give it a try?"

"No, it's too much trouble, and I might get killed by accident. Besides, it would be a big problem if Angel came while we were fighting."

"So you still remember Angel?" Aya looked at the princess with a somewhat speechless expression.

"So now it's time to rest." Tiran quickly finished his meat and planned to go into the vine shelter.

"You're going to sleep right after eating? Are you a pig?!" Aya looked at her eccentric owner with a mix of crying and laughing. She couldn't believe that he didn't have any plans or preparations in such a critical situation.

Speaking of preparations... Aya suddenly remembered the scroll that the Elf King had given Tiran when they entered the World Tree.

"Wait, don't sleep yet. Did you figure out what that scroll from the Elf King is? It's supposed to be a divine treasure or something..."

Tiran's footsteps stopped, and he put down the scroll, turned around, and sat back on the foldable stool used for barbecue, holding his head in thought for a while. "Huh? What scroll?"

"You already forgot so soon? Are you a goldfish?" Aya realized that maybe staying with Tiran for too long had made her sarcastic, and she was starting to become a professional critic.

"Tsk, I just mentioned it casually, and you actually believed me." Tiran sneered and took the ancient scroll out of his pocket. "It's this."

After a moment of contemplation, Aya decided not to worry about the details anymore.

"Well, so what exactly is this scroll?"

She untied the rope that held the scroll and slowly unfolded it. Row after row of complex and mysterious characters appeared on the yellowed surface of the scroll. They were different from the current human or Elf writing, emanating a mysterious and solemn aura. It was hard to imagine that just a few lines of text could create such a feeling.

However...

"I really don't understand it at all."

"Agreed. Is that Elf god just messing with us?"

Aya smirked, "Why not sell this thing? I heard there are humans who like to collect these old-looking things."

Although it looks impressive, it is completely unattractive to a dragon. He still prefers shiny gems and gold coins.

Just as the scroll was fully unraveled, a strange ripple emanated from it, and then, as if an invisible hand stuffed a certain will into the minds of the two of them.

When they looked at the mysterious and incomprehensible scroll again, they suddenly understood what the words represented.

If the information conveyed by that will is not misleading, the content on the scroll in their hands should be...

Dragon Knight Contract.
